Thanks for posting this. My wife's birthday is this weekend and we will be using a free night certificate to stay at the Waldorf Astoria - Chicago which was just upgraded to a Junior Suite. The true quandary we are facing is which deep dish pizza to choose - Giordano's or Lou Malnati's. As you guys have had both, can you tell me which did you prefer?
Happy early Brithday!! Awesome on the upgrade too, that junior suite was super nice. Kinda torn but the more I think of it I would go Lou Malnati's however either option would be good.
We have never been to LA so can't comment on that, I do think the Waldorf's in general seem to be a step above Conrad's. They had shopping nearby and you really just felt like you weren't in the city even though you were, we really enjoyed it.

This is such a beautiful hotel room. Love how you celebrate your birthday! The pizza looked yummy! Sorry the bed wasn't as comfortable as it should have been for this type of hotel. Have y'all given any more thought to when you might finish your route 66 trip? Great video!
Thank you so much, we try to make the most of our birthday months since time continues to go by so fast. We were actually just discussing this and our plan is to finish up next year possibly April.
