Hi Guys, I’m the owner at The Coffee Shop in Pendine. Cheers for calling in with us, it was a pleasure meeting you, hope you enjoyed your breakfast. Loving the tiny clip of our place in your video. Shame we didn’t get to showcase our place properly considering we’re fellow bikers, maybe another time 😎
Hey Trudy, likewise thanks so much for your hospitality and the food was great! Exactly what we needed after being up on an empty stomach since 4am 😁 I know, I would have loved to have captured more footage of your awesome cafe, tbh we were so knackered at that point that we just needed to sit down and rest haha but would love to come back to Pendine it's such a beautiful town so will definitely stop by when I do and also hopefully have the right permissions this time to get on the beach 😅
Wow...just wow! Just found your channel and was hooked from the get-go. When I saw the ride on the beach, I was blown away. That was stunning footage...absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing that. New subscriber here...keep up the excellent work! 👌
So good to watch a motorcycle tour video without having to see or talk about a BMW GS or Tiger. Refreshing to see a tour using different bikes for a change. Loved this episode, looking forward to watching the rest.
Thanks so much and really glad you enjoyed it! Arguably they're "better" bikes and more suited for this sort of riding but the scramblers hold their own not to mention Matt's awesome Africa Twin.
Great video; showing just what a beautiful country Wales is…. And for me, an Englishman living in Wales, the places you rode I count as my back garden!
Thank you mate, you're very lucky! I'd been to Wales before but never on a motorbike and was stunned at how beautiful the landscape is, really makes me rethink living in London haha
Haha far from a Jedi Master this was my first ever longform video (I actually edited this before I made the Bikeshed Show video) so still very much a young padawan but really appreciate it mate and glad that you enjoyed the video!
Thank you so much mate, I really appreciate it and more than anything am glad that you liked the video 😁 I guess I've only been posting for a couple of weeks so its still really early days but feedback like this really makes posting worth it and lets me know Im on the right track 👊 Also checked out your channel, you've got a bunch of cool videos, just subbed and keen to watch more of your adventures 💯🔥
Absolutely sublime dude, love the whole production value & layout of documenting this, the audio with the drone footage of Pendine Sands was killer! Getting at it and literally achieving those dreams on two wheels. Roll on the remaining episodes and future endeavours man! 🙌🏼 🏁P.S Colour grading is 🔥🔥
Bro thank you so much, your feedback and support throughout all of this has genuinely meant a lot and I appreciate it so much. Really looking forward to meeting up again in the near future. PS thank you about the comment about the colour grading as you know how obsessive I am about it 😅
Dude I didn't realise you had videos on youtube and if it wasn't for the suggestions I still wouldn't have known ahah What top notch shots and editing, you really have an eye for this, congratulations!!! Keep going and ride safe mate 😎🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thank you bro! Yeah I've only been posting for a couple of weeks here but glad that you found the video and really appreciate the feedback bro, it means a lot 👊
Top notch production, mate! A great chapter and can’t wait for more. You really know how to capture dreams 💯🙏🏍️. (BTW it’s Bill (still waiting for my 400x delivery) in Canada). 😂
Thank you Bill! Im also waiting until you get your 400x cant wait to see you get on that bike and hear about your experiences on it! Also really appreciate the feedback and glad that you enjoyed the video 👊
You need to get North Wales 🏴 me and my mates been riding years in Wales 🏴 .. Snowdonia one of best areas in Wales for bikes .. you got to go Bedgelert & through Llanberis Pass . If ever you need a guide get in touch .. my mate knows just about every descent road and we know all the best cafes .
I live in Pendine, half way up the hill on the left, Shame, you could have popped in for a coffee. I'm amazed you managed to get on the beach at all. I've been trying since I moved here. The head of the local council is my neighbour and he rides too so he wouldn't have given you any grief unless he'd received some complaints. Don't worry about it.
Most definitely, next time I'm in south Wales we'll have to grab that coffee haha. And yh tbh once he started speaking to us he was really nice about it and just asked that we don't go back on the beach which is completely understandable. But we genuinely had no idea as if you google it everywhere says you can ride on the beach (although having now checked again those articles are from a few years ago). Surprisingly the few locals that were up and about at that time were all really nice to us and stopped by for a chat and to admire the bikes.
@@dream_o2w It is annoying because the beach gets used regularly. For example this weekend the British Hot Rod Association are running on it. And soon there's a whole MX weekend. It confuses me and I live here :D
Thanks bro, will probably film some more videos at Ace Cafe in the future as well as I go there quite often. Appreciate it mate the scrambler was such a great bike for this trip but Matt's old school africa twin is something else, do you ride as well?
# ChildishGamVEEno 😅Quickest way is to prob just pay me to edit hahaha jk bro your edits are already really good but more than happy to spend some time to go over long form editing ✊
TBF that was some random guy in the beemer rather than the guy from the council but would have been great if that was him haha. Also if I was taller his Africa Twin would have been long gone and Matt would still be stranded somewhere in Wales right now 😂
Just for the record, I put a comment on here yesterday pointing out that riding on Pendine is illegal. We get enough bad press without publicising our illegal beahaviour on youtube. It worries me that lots of comments on the video related to going to Pendine, maybe to repeat their behaviour. But my comment has been removed. Go on, be a man. put the post back up. We don't really know what people think of you if you remove any comments with criticism in them.
I'm not sure what comment you're referring to as RU-vid automatically blocks certain comments if it deems them inappropriate/ containing abusive language. Also as I mentioned in the video we spoke to the local council afterwards and smoothed things over and additionally I added a disclaimer within the video specifying that you can no longer ride on the beach and to check with the local council first.
Yes. I began the comment with “You idiot” because you have been irresponsible in encouraging illegal riding. RU-vid stepped in and said “Are you sure you want to post this?” So I clicked yes. And it appeared in your comments section for everyone to read. And it was still there a while later when I checked for your response. So who took it down?
too much footage up your hooter i'm afraid. We want to see the riding and the surrounds, not you, but thanks anyway. I guess this is what youtubers do now, see themselves as small time movie stars and assume we arte happy to be 2 inches from their BIG faces.
