Could be, could be. For myself, I have wittled it down to two. Either 'JERUSALEM', or, and this is my fave, 'I VOW TO THEE MY COUNTRY'. Always pis....upsets me when Scotland and Wales get their anthem played and we are stuck with the anthem of Great Britain and The United(???) Kingdom. I have listened to a large number of national anthems, and they all have one thing in common: they are about THE COUNTRY! The land, the people. We sing about a PERSON. Someone whose only claim to fame is having the right nobby parents. Okay, good luck to her. However, I want to do what all the other nations do. I want to sing about MY HOMELAND. Still, that's just me. There you go.
Yes!!! And national dress must be: A knotted handkerchief on the head, brown sandels with plaid socks, a white string vest and shorts that come down two inches below the knee. For women, it would be a floral house coat, with a striped pinnie, matching knotted head scarf, really thick, rumpled brown tights and grey mule slippers. Olympic team would REALLY stand out at the opening! :-)
Hi, trying to screen record/ get this game (France VS England 2015 warm up Twickenham) with the walkouts as my brother was one of the mascots running out! Would you have that footage at all please? Many thanks :)
England doesn’t even have a real national anthem. When singing god save the king, or queen, you’re singing to the queen of england AND Wales. Point recieved?
Mojuice Media Hi, I have to agree with you, Biggar simply is not an international no 10, of all the selections for the Lions his inclusion was a farce especially when you consider Russell and Ford were left behind. I don't doubt the guys courage and determination but it is a pre requisite of the no 10 to have vision and be able to pass.
2 massive errors from wales at the end which lead England to score a schoolboy try. Davies kicks it straight down the middle when he should of hit it out and then cuthbert Puts it on a plate for Dailey by getting drawn in when there was already players to make the tackle on Farrell think this was the end for cuthbert 😂

Who is the one-eyed English commentator with the 'regional' accent. Why do the broadcast team allow him bring this narrow, tribal, seemingly book-learned viewpoint that does not reflect the essence of Rugby. Which is that we bash the flummery out of each other then go and have a beer, best of friends afterwards. After everything is said and done it is, just, a game. Arguably one of the best in the world.
I think you're referring to Brian Moore. Personally I disagree with your opinion but that is what it is, a matter of opinion. What is not a matter of opinion is whether his knowledge is 'book-learned'. Although he is a qualified and experienced lawyer and has 'book-learning', he has over 50 England caps and also played for the Lions so I don't think he can be accused of not having real experience. As you don't seem to know who one of the most famous: 1) players of the 80s and 90s; and 2) commentators since then, as well as being a qualified referee, it does rather call into question your knowledge of our beautiful game (although I agree with your sentiments about what the game is :-)) )
I also respect your right to an opinion- but - and i’m Welsh - I love hear him comment on matches. I’m fine with the fact that (surely) he must in his heart support England. Why shouldn’t he? However I never feel that gets in the way of him pointing out what he sees as great rugby. For example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J3YehLVpBE8.html As an aside I the way he speaks too- taking breaths half way through sentences!
@@daviddavies526 Please excuse the delay and thank you for your considered response. I was wrong and probably guilty of looking for reasons to believe Rugby was trying to dilute its purpose by appealing to the boof brigade with the recent Law changes. Even worse is the realisation that I may not even be smart enough to keep up with Moore's analysis in the commentary. A horrible, and humbling thought. I considered deleting the original comment but a monument to ill-conceived opinions will probably do some good, perhaps. Cheers.
