Okay I love Yunjin but I am tired of people spreding misinformation. She isn't a trained opera singer, she sung in a production of Phantom of the Opera. She sings in opratic styles, that's different. Trained opera singers sing over an orchestra without a mic and I've never scene Yunjin do that. Also she would have to be a prodogy or something because your voice fully develops at 18 and opera singers train for YEARS, that's why there are hardly and 20-21 year old opera singers.

@@atjad she did plan to major in opera though if she never pursued becoming an idol i remember she talked about it a bit somewhere (but yes i do agree the bit where you talk abt how opera singers are extremely rare bc of the years of training needed)

The problem with Aespa is that (while we hear their vocals on studio tracks) they rarely PERFORM live. Idk if that’s SM’s choice, idk if that’s the broadcasting companies choice, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a live Aespa performance (granted, I don’t go out of my way to consume their content)

@@Ahjusshi_Brown aespa has sang live especially in their recent performances. They’re very stable performers. Even outside of that, they have given content where they record their vocals for songs. So i think it would’ve been a good thing to see in the video, considering that their vocal line is one of the best in their generation regardless.

i got your point but idols are perfomers. stage presence must be the priority, imo. and they can only get that while equally focusing on dancing and vocal aspects. that two combined will make strong presence. versatility, it is.

@@ceeca626 Stage presence is different from choreography. My point was, 4th gen groups are focusing so much on nailing the choreography that they either choose to not sing live or the quality of their live vocals are affected by the insane dancing. That's why I said they should focus more on showing off their vocals. Because at the end of the day, they are singers that dance, not dancers who sing.

@@ceeca626 Just to clarify, I'm not saying they shouldn't have good choreos. But to make that the focus of the performance rather than the singing is bad imo. There are plenty of kpop artists who don't have intense choreos, but their stage presence is off the charts. Example: IU, big bang, gidle. Even BTS. BTS has some intense choreos but they are smart about when they dance and when they sing so that the live vocals aren't affected too much.

@@MinSugaCheonjae and i did not say that stage presence is the same with the choreography; i just said combined (dancing ang singing). i totally understand your point, but i guess the delivery is somehow off to me. 4th gen groups are different from each other. i may not know all them, but for example: aespa has strong vocals but their choreo is just chill and so the stage presence is not that big. and there's nmixx who is well-balanced, both singing and dancing. not all 4th gen groups today are too focused on dancing. the phrase 'are focusing so much...' just felt so wrong, so i thought i need to explain my side. however, i understand the point.

@@MinSugaCheonjae i'm not twisting your words but if your second sentence will be put like this: "but to make that the focus of the singing rather than the performance is bad imo", it's off too, right? that's why i said on my first comment, they need to balance it well. so far, nmixx is i know that is really fitting on this one. for me, idols should not be labeled with 'singers' or 'dancers' or even 'singers and dancers' alone but performers. but eitherway, even if the focus is the performance or the dance or vocals, kpop fans will say anything against everything. "their stage presence is good but no vocals", "they have vocals but their stage presence is lame, "i love the song but the live vocals and stage presence is not there", "the dance is meh.." and so on.

Efra here ✌🏼. Absolutely, the problem we have at the moment with this is last year when we tried to reacting we got stroke down... We might just have to wait a few days, please give us a few days to get in touch and hopefully come up with way to do a big video on best performances/ Most talked about (including J Hope!)

Creo que no entendiste muy bien, al contrario a ellos les gusta mucho lily, no dijeron que su nota en TFTM tenía tensión al contrario alabaron su tecnica y capacidad de tener buen soporte en sus notas altas.

Más bien alabaron a Le Serafín que ya se sabe de más que ninguna canta bien en estos días.
