This is a new group that is going to debut this year under YG (Blackpink, Winner, Ikon, and Big Bang's label) They had a survival show called YG Treasure Box 2 years ago and before treasure, YG always had small number of groups and Treasure was originally supposed to be 7 then 6 then 5 then back to 7 then they were going to split the group in 2 sub units but still under Treasure called Treasure 13, but a member left before they could debut so now they are all merged changing their name from Treasure 13 to now Treasure.

They haven't debuted yet btw. That song is like the theme song of that survival show.

The show is called YG Treasure Box... it was named as such because YG is known for having the most legendary and most talented artists however they work on a very different calendar from that of a "normal" KPop company...YG artists very rarely go to any tv shows and they take a long time to have "comebacks" which gave YG the reputation of keeping his precious artists locked in a treasure box like the precious gems that they are. They used the "negative term" and tried to flipped it in the show by referring to the trainees as the hidden gems of YG being shown and selected for their dream debut. That could also be why the group was named TREASURE, they are the newest gems of YG Ent. taken out from the Treasure Box and ready to be shown to the world and represent YG to the new generation of Kpop fans.

Been K-Popers for almost 18th years since BOA, Rain & Se7en era, witnessing how YG Ent & their idols got lot criticism & hate cos they are soo not South Korean's standard in music style (hip-hop, tough rapper), visually called Ugly compared to other agencies idols cute pretty sweet, but YG's idols outlook are fierce, badass & swag..but also YG Ent is paving the way in term of back then the only agency that allowed & push their trainees/idols to make their own music, to co-organised their own style of fashion, to arrange their own stage on how they want how the live performance to look (and YG's idols live performance still are the BEST from other agencies idols), and now lot of agencies allowed their idols to make their own music...Korean nets can hate YG Ent & the idols but without YG Ent & the Idols K-Pop wouldn't be as today it won't be the same... they've been trying hard to bring down YG Ent & the idols, sadly they are successful to bring down view of YG Ent idols & they been trying hard since 2019 cos most of BigBang's member will enlist, iKON, WINNER & BlackPink doing Great + Treasure Box showed how this boys can be the next big thing (watch the show and will understand) delayed for 1.5year but here the day TREASURE 💎 will debut are coming hardly wait for this boys to join the YG's family live performances, music events & concert 🙏 thank you for this video reactions 😘♥️

And lastly this group is SO talented. You guys will fall in love with Yedam just like how u fall in love with Kyungsoo's (D.O) voice. They have distinctive voices and ppl call Yedam God for it. Their vocal line is prob my favorite after EXO and their dancer + rapper line is crazy powerful. Please Check out Yedam's cover that he did last week called Honesty. ITS SO GOOD! Just a little info, Yedam sounds like Shawn Mendes & Justin Bieber mixed together and there is another member called Jeongwoo in Treasure who sounds a bit like Justin Bieber as well

They were supposed to be 2 sub-units, TREASURE (7) & MAGNUM (6) and together they were TREASURE 13 however 1 final member left the company to pursue a solo career thus YGE decided to debut all the remaining 12 in just 1 huge group called TREASURE. It was also supported by a huge fan request. I guess, it's also a new strategy for the company, they already tried debuting 2 groups in the same generation (WINNER & iKON) and I personally think promoting 2 groups cost more and it even divided the fans (to the point wherein jealousy existed). They making 1 supergroup here. The WINKON kind of group we didn't get to see during the 3rd kpop generation.

Few thing YG entertainment is fixed about is talent above looks and making their own music, especially boygroup. And fashion. YG is leads in those aspects.

Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of YGE is fond of doing survival shows. From Bigbang until Treasure. Bigbang, Winner, iKON and Treasure are products of the survival shows Bigbang Documentary, Win: Who's Next, Mix&Match and Treasure Box respectively. These group are trainees under YGE where they compete in the survival show called Treasure Box. They are actually a total of 13 members, 7 members for Treasure and 6 members for Magnum. But apparently, YoonBin left the group before they debut. Thats why they just combined them all as a 12 member group called TREASURE. They are all talented, been witnessed it at the competition. Some of them is also an all rounder. Well, YG has a skill in finding talents. YGE has a tough times these past years and that cause the knetz turning blind eye to Treasure. Hoping TREASURE can get the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

Background information Stray kids and some members of treasure had this tradition they had to follow it’s called YG vs JYP they basically have down this with most of their artist when the battle each other with vocals, dance and rap in a friendly competition. All the groups that versed each other are very well known artists and all of the people in the survival somehow debuted and gave their company a reputation and they made themselves known in kpop. Got7 and also a band named day6 that are from jyp also featured in this as well they were versing groups that are now known as winner and ikon from yg which is btw treasure and also blackpinks company. You should check out stray kids yg vs jyp and also got7 yg vs jyp. PS Bambam from got7 only debuted because he got complemented by yg in this show or else he would’ve debuted with stray kids.

Siguiendo el tema de los clubs a GD miembro de BIGBANG y Seungri era muy común verlos en fiestas o en clubs. GD por su parte tiene varios tatuajes y fuma al igual que TOP quién también es fumador o Taeyang quién también tiene tatuajes, esas y muchas razones es por las que no tienen tan buena reputación. Por cierto, BIGBANG es parte de YG, que como dije en otro comentario suelen ser vistos como "rebeldes".

Lo de los idols no yendo a clubs es más porque deben de tener una imagen más limpia no fiestera y así. No se ven mucho en clubs por privacidad y no tener rumores sobre ellos no porque no beban. De hecho, es muy común que los idols beban, los coreanos beben mucho alcohol es como parte de ellos, por eso es común ver a idols bebiendo ya sea en programas o mencionando que beben no es un taboo. Sin embargo, el fumar es mal visto al igual que las drogas y los tatuajes no son bien recibidos por el público.
