Tnx for this video of the mall, even if I haven't gone there yet I'll have an idea how it looks like when I get there. I am planning to go there on my birthday to see different places there in La Union. Actually I am from Pampanga and I live here, and I had been in Bacnotan La Union for 5 days way back 2004 wherein I had a 5 days training on beekeeping. In 2018, we passed by Bauan, Bacnotan, and we also passed by that San Fernando bypass road which you just showed us on your video. Cabalen is a Kapampangan restaurant chain which offers dishes from Pampanga and other dishes in the Philippines.

Interesting .. I didn't know Cabalen is a Kapampangan restaurant chain. The food there is pretty good. And well.. the price is great for all you can eat! ;-)

I saw your other video wherein you featured Angeles City. I hope you can come back and try other Kapampangan restaurants other than Cabalen. You may include these restaurants in your bucket list once you visit again, and you may also include them in your Vlogs. Restaurants like Susie's Cuisine in Angeles, San Fernando Pampanga, or Guagua branch. You can also try our eat all restaurant called Bale Kapampangan along McArthur Hway Dolores San Fernando Pampanga. You can also try Everybody's Cafe along Mc Arthur Hway in Del Pilar San Fernando Pampanga, also try Apag Marangle along Jasa Avenue Guagua, Pampanga. All serve Kapampangan foods. Manyaman! Oh yes! They have those Diaso Stores in OC and LA county. Most everything is $1.50 each.

15:48 That building you're pointing at is the new La Union Convention Center....it is within the La Union Multi-Purpose Complex. Most of which are still under construction. Though some govt offices have already moved to their own respective new buildings within the complex. My girlfriend's apartment is just about 200 steps from there. 🤙

@4:05 ... Unli Samgyupsal... Php499! Good to see you back in the PI. Question: I thought you had to show your Jab card when you entered the mall? Then you have to show it again to gain access to the supermarket? No wonder the mall is nearly empty! I can remember when our Super Metro grocery opened in Calbayog City - so many people... for months on end. And then Gaisano opened and the same thing... So crowded! It's clear that these vax mandates are hurting businesses (and people) everywhere.

Yeah.. we showed our QR code, and VAX card to enter the mall. Then again to enter the Supermarket. Crazy... I'm sure all the Filipinos and foreigners who are not vaccinated are shopping at smaller stores to get their food items. Malls are def losing business in having to show that Vax card. for sure!

Calbayog Super Metro and Gaisano Mall was opened before pandemic that's why there are a lot of people went there. Robinsons Mall La Union just opened last year September 2021. Even if it it's still in a pandemic crisis, there are still a lot of people went there to go shop during its opening day and after its opening day. La Union covid cases went down to 0 active case last November up to December. So, children below 18 years old and senior citizens above 65 yrs were already allow to go out during those days. Last Christmas Season, people are everywhere including children, adults, seniors etc. They're at the mall, parks, beaches etc. It seems to be pretty normal last Christmas Season if you don't ask. Robinsons Mall La Union last year during its opening day till Christmas season was very crowded and tagged as one of the crowded Malls in the Northern Philippines. A lot of people were not able to park their cars because the parking spaces were already full. Some people were also not allowed to enter the mall because it's already crowded and no space at all. In this case, people went to other malls of San Fernando City, La Union like Manna Mall and the oldest Mall which is CSI Mall. Vax card is not needed in entering the Mall during those times. First week of January, Omicron variant is now the dominant variant of the Philippines. The covid cases went up again rapidly. Then, La Union is placed under more stricter Alert level 3 status till January 14 up to January 31. Children below 18 years old and Seniors up to 65 years old are again probihited to go out. These are the reasons why they are lesser people outside and inside the mall because of the current Alert Level 3 status. Not only La Union experiencing this kind of status and restrictions. It's throughout the whole Philippines including Metro Manila and other Provinces and Cities. Hoping this February, La Union's Alert level 3 status would be lifted.

You bet! Just make sure to have your Napanam QR code, and Vax card to get in. It is a pretty Mall. Be nice when the Movie Theatre is open !!! I miss going to the movies.

Very nice mall tour, but I just hope next time that you can also show the whole area of 3rd floor up to 4th floor. Just like starbucks, there are still a lot of stores that will open soon.

Nice Mall. Mark FYI: the Classic Savory Restaurant is one of the oldest Restaurant in Manila just like Max's and Aristocrat Restaurant. The original Savory i think is still open in Manila but under renovation. I saw it on another Vlogger who vlogs about Philippine History. Hello Cel!

They had some really old pictures on the wall of a Bull fighting Ring in Manila, and some old pictures of the Savory in Manila! Pretty cool. Food was good. but a bit pricey for what you get. We could have ate at the ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet next door for less! lol..

Cheese looks nice.. About the US prices. Not bad. And good you can get some spices and a few harder things to find. 👍 Chicken salad sandwiches sound good. Use up rotisserie chicken.

Still very quiet on the streets on San Fernando compared to before the pandemic, even the mall seems slow compared to other ones we have been to before the lock downs. I remember being on the bypass road 2 years ago in bumper to bumper traffic through certain parts & bumper to bumper through the entire city of San Fernando on the main highway. Oh how times have changed, hopefully this year is better & the country welcomes more arriving flights at all their airports & gets rid of the quarantines. Maybe after the elections. Glad to see that the Robinson's is completed & open, maybe SM will be next!

@@LovinglyYourz We hope the restrictions get lifted to & quarantine for the vaccinated goes away & then if airline prices go back to normal we will return. Until all those things happen its a hard decision to return both financially & stress wise.

The whole Province of La Union is on Alert level 3 status since January 14 up to January 31 that's why they're lesser people outside because of the restrictions comparing before pandemic and before the Alert level 3 status was raised. Since first week of January, the Omicron is the most dominant variant in the Philippines and it is more contagious than Delta that's why there are a lot of cases again in La Union and throughout the Philippines. Not only La Union is experiencing this type of restrictions even in other Provinces and Cities including Metro Manila. During Christmas season covid case went down to 0 active case in La Union last November up to December and people are everywhere including children and senior citizens. They were at the malls, parks, beaches etc. It's like everything seems to be normal last Christmas season with lesser restrictions. Then, this January the covid cases went up again rapidly with strict restrictions. Children below 18 years old and seniors above 65 years old are probihited again to go outside. Around 30-50% capacity of people should only allow to go inside the establishments including malls, restos, etc. I hope the restrictions and the alert level status of the Province would get lifted on February.

Cool hyperlapse! 👌 When I was there I would always park at the top-most level. Open air and it's less crowded. 👌 7:03 Them surfboards were the first thing I noticed also when I went there for the first time. They also have surfboard-shaped decors on the ceiling, did you see them?

see if you can find out who owns the mall , you might want to shop in smaller locally owned shops , not that I'm saying to boycott the mall completely , just go there for stuff you cant find locally , OK , I checked it out CHINA with a big F
