How you get 70mph with 200hp? Mine wont get over 61 thats on clear, smooth day on water. Ive gotta change out LEDS, Cargo lid cylinders cant find anybody that has exactly what I need. Im having to pull every wire outta my 2000 P2, somebody went in an crossed too many wires & caused them to melt together. Not much luck at buying my 1st $18k bass boat. Even spent $3k on trying to keep motor running & it still wont stay running. Sucks!!😡

Someday, I hope! This is the boat I keep coming back too. I look at what the boat has to offer and what it can do, and nothing has my attention like the Pantera Classic! It's everything you need and nothing you don't. I just can't imagine Bass Cat ever improving on this design.

Tournament I thought this boat was being advertised for the common man not for people that run tournaments. Thought this boat was supposed to be a discount boat not a high-end boat

Ive seen people win tournaments in flat bottom boats this is the "everyday angler" boat. You can do anything in it you just dont have every single bell and whistle

I'm one of those that don't have 60 grand laying around. This is the boat for me. Bow stability is important for me. I need leg & elbow room up front to spider rig for crappie on a stable platform when I'm not bass fishing. Great boat for the weekend warrior & those that are budget minded.

If only Bass Cat added tool holders to their Vision and Advantage series boats. Such a simple thing to do but they haven't yet :(

Will basscat let you upgrade the seats in the classic from the standard seats? Can you adjust the driver seat for short persons (5'5") ?

You can adjust the steering wheel but not the seat. They do not let you upgrade the seats. Thanks for stopping by.

19’1 w 200 hp 73mph bass boat. “Entry level”... lol. What does this boat not have? The Pantera hull is what put Basscat on the map. It was their flag ship for many years, and in my opinion it’s still their best.

Hey Waylon . The Pantera Classic is an entry level boat because of the price point. It does not have all of the extra bells and the whistles the premium lines have such as the Lynx and the Caracal. Bass Cat does that to keep the price down on this particular model. Thanks for the comment!

If you can tolerate basic electronics and go with a fortrex over the ultrex, you can keep the price down. Maybe do without power poles also will also trim the price down for budget buyers. Some things can be compromised on while others cannot. Its all based on each individual.
