Walk in My Shoes: Sexual Assault Awareness Month  

An emotional and eye-opening display featuring more than 1,000 shoes worn, decorated and submitted with stories by sexual assault survivors of all ages from across the state of Florida decorated the rotunda of the Florida Capitol in April - honoring National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention month.
Lauren’s Kids and the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence (FCASV) hosted the display to ask others to “walk in the shoes” of survivors and those affected by sexual violence.
