This song has carried me through the recent loss of my Auntie, Betty Hill, who succumbed to The Corona Virus! Jesus is light of the world, and he has shined it upon me and helped me through this past week. I pray my Auntie knew how much I loved her, and will forever love her continuously, for the rest of my days. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. God, I love you so much. You sent your son to die for me, just so that I could have a chance at life. I thank you for it all.
made me think of my grandma and u kno she passed in July and she was 84 lived for God had no education but raised kids, grandkids and all.... didnt have much but the Lord saw us through.... I said this is what grandma wanted me to know all along.... Walk in the Light....
I’m sorry for your loss but This is beautiful 😢 It’ll be 2 years this July for my Grandma, lived to 92 raised her kids & grandkids as well, even raised some of greatgrandchildren. All she did was talk about the Lord. Your grandma sounds like a mighty woman ❤️

No sir no maam yes sir yes maam but also did it with Love and showed us Godly reverence and respect. They passed us the button so now we have to run the race that is set before us. This is a great video. I was blessed to see the Barlett sisters singing along. I am a caucasion man who lives in Canada. A few years ago Holy Spirit untroduced me to this great music style. It is very beautiful and righteous. I love to see our cultures worship together because I know it would please our Father so much and I am a guy that really, really, likes to please my Father. I had prayed about racism and asked Father why He created us different colours and why He made us so stupid. He was really happy to tell me that I was actually wrong in my beliefs. "I did not make you different colours, I just made you stupid," he replied. He was smiling when he said that. I could hear it in His voice. So I got on the internet and found a source of dermatological information and sure enough, there is only one human skin pigment. it is called melanin. SURPRISE !!!!!! WE'RE ALL THE SAME COLOUR !!!!!! I do not deny any of my ignorance, judgements, hatreds or unkindnesses that I have exposed to others in my behavior. I renounce, refute and refuse all the ideas, theories, reactions and thoughts that support the demonic doctrines of racism. I resist you satan and I say "May the Lord rebuke you." I apologize to all that I even might have caused pain. Before the Holy Spirit of God and all my fellow man, I confess my failure I ask for forgiveness from you all. I ask forgiveness from my Father. It was just after my prayers about racism that Father led me to the Bartlett Sisters ministry, Lee Williams, Albertina Walker, James cleveland, and many others that use this style of music to express their love of Jesus. I've been researching the history of your music also and I have listened to many blessed performances thereby. I just think it is very well done Thank you Ya know I love ya, right? Bottom line is I enjoy being part of your worship and I am truely grateful for you.

I'm watching this clip.on RU-vid. Got me thinking about my church I grew up in. My mom use to lead this song. She's in Heaven now. Sense septembet 8, 2001, passed two days before my little brother Birthday on the 10th of September. I'm in tears, I really miss her and these songs in church. I'm a musicians, I will play this song on sunday and for the up coming Christmas concert we are having. I love this song.

bigjoe wolfe I think that the vast majority of those in this video are now deceased. Along with those you mentioned, I see Albertina Walker, Delois Barrett Campbell, Eugene Smith, Inez Andrews, Father Charles Hayes, Robert Anderson and Esther Ford who have all gone home to be with the lord.

I don't know if it was 2 Tim 1:10 but at some point after reading 2 Tim 1, I started singing this song. I'm thankful to God I found it so quickly online. Stirs my soul for good just to honor Jesus in this song by signing His name. Thank You Lord for Your goodness and power. I wanted to close my eyes but couldn't stop seeing Macerick City in this video...the set up was so similar with the organ and piano with people singing all around. Love how there's nothing new under the sun so this style of worship came back (although I wasn't saved when this video came out so I had never seen prep people worship like this until about a decade ago).
