@@kevinbaird7277 no it means that the scholarship goes all the way back to day one, this means every penny he has paid to the school for tuition for the last 4 years he gets back.
Best part about this stuff, when a player get puts on scholarship it means they’re about to see the field, wether starting or a rotation guy at 2nd string. So the hard work LITERALLY payed off. I love seeing these video.
I ran track for four years, was even team captain and never got a dime towards my education. Damn it would have felt good if my coach uttered those words. God bless him and those players.
I love the duality of it. The dude on the right started smiling from ear to ear like "FUCK YEA!" and the guy on the left turned around like "oh no.." because he knew he was gonna cry lol
Big school, little school going from walk on grinding school, job, and practice to full scholarship is a blessing its a truly amazing thing that will change the lives of these guy
That's called getting it done, and leadership by example. This is how you get recognized for taking a stand, for what you believe in, and what you are willing to stand for! Our senator are nothing like these two young men!
Don’t know how this ended up in my recommended, but I literally went to high school with the bigger guy, “C-Will”, aka Caleb Williams. Really good dude, he deserves all of that!
Fuck yes!!! Made my night. Congratulations, men! Make shit happen, from right now, until then. Get it. Coach, keep it rollin. That’s how you mold young men into leaders. DEP 2006
As a college athlete in sport our school considered a club until our second time to national gotta lot of respect to a walk on being there everyday working hard next to someone on a scholarship. Could only imagine how much more difficult itd be waking up early or practicing past midnight if not everyone around me was paying to do the same just to play.
