This was a nice chat. It would have been even better if the setting was not so superficial. It would have been super cool if they were walking around a track.
8:03 haha, Carlos was asked the same question in one of the mclaren challenge videos😂 "I would sneak into very interesting places and see some very interesting things"
When it came to Charles choosing those to have at his dinner table my heart broke abit. I am pretty confident that one of those would be his dad, he just didn’t want to mention it and be too serious. He has a lot of angels watching him.
Sorry, I can't take this seriously lol. Ferrari marketing seems to be stuck in the 90s. They are in this Tron world but they obviously couldn't take their focus away from the treadmill (also making sound editing painful). This could have been just a video podcast or a normal one on one and it would be 10x better.
You can tell they're still at an early stage in their friendship. If lLando and Carlos were having this conversation it would have looked very different. Probably would have been much more joking around.
This video is so wholesome. We are used to them doing challenges and f1 related content, but this just felt beyond that, felt genuine, honest and that we were seeing two guys talking about life. Refreshing.
Great video if a bit weird! One thing that I would recommend is a better microphone for the drivers though, it was difficult to make out what they were saying sometimes as it sounds a little muffled.
"what would be a good day for you?" "receive a package by UPs, put on my puma outfit, load my ferrari with shell v power, put my raybans and do whatever mission winnow does not related at all with tobacco"
Just discovered this video and it's so.. weird?? They could've set up the interview with them sitting and then playing games while answering questions. Could have some serious competition banter too!
Perfect example of a baseless argument made of assumptions. MW is not a place for brands or products. We encourage people to put their preconceptions about our company aside and to open their minds to the transformation we’re going through. MW gives a stage where we can be heard & share ideas relevant to us and others.
You are entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. MW is not a place for brands or products. @@mission.winnow "My own facts"????? You guys are literally owned by Marlboro and had to change your logo to green because it was still too close to the Marlboro logo. Everybody knows this.
The fact is that MW does not and will never advertise or promote any brands or products, and we challenge anyone to find anything that contradicts our promise. The change of color has nothing to do with products. For us, the green logo represents our change-embracing spirit. Nonetheless, exploration of our color palette in the logo is only the beginning.
@@mission.winnow Phillip Morris International is a sponsor of Mission Winnow. Phillip Morris International also owns Marlboro. Stop lying. You look bad
@@mission.winnow I don't know if you guys will read it or answer but I hope that someone at least reads this from your side. I get it that the word tobacco is banned nowadays but your answer isn't a very good one. I think MW doesn't want to be part of anything with tobacco. But it still is a huge business and it makes a lot of money. I get it that here where anyone can read these comments you guys want to be "clean" as possible. Still this is internet and answering like that makes you look even more silly. I don't want to give you any advice how to work but that answer is straight from someones law book. You guys make a lot of good content but if you want to win the internet to your side that is not how to do it. There may be some younger viewers who don't know what is behind MW and that may be a good thing. You don't have to show it but hiding it too much may be even a bigger problem.
This is a very interesting and walk as well Carlos and Charles talking about what happened over the time in lockdown like around the world and what did at home and drive in F1 and think it is brilliant and what they do in as people that is go to know I did think Charles was very Creative and artist as a person and enjoy what Carlos said about social media and I agree it is better meet people that right.
the social media concept was..., not it. v old schooled. take a few page from mclaren marketing team pls :/ sounds like it’s recorded over zoom & yall added the CGI over it.
Yea nice video for the most part but what is the actual point of this company- inspire people and encourage them to smoke while connecting them as well?
We've been clear from the beginning that even though we are a PMI-driven initiative, it's not about brands or products, and never will be. The fact is that MW has its own purpose - to drive dialogue.
This is incredibly odd. I think enough people know this is Phillip Morris trying to get around tobacco advertising restrictions. If this channel is successful, then the comments will make even more people aware only putting more pressure to expand regulations to cover the loop holes that technically separate the two companies.
Incorrect. We always stated that there are no brands or products within Mission Winnow initiative, and we stayed true to our promise. Yes, MW is a PMI-driven initiative but it has its own purpose which has nothing to do with products. The two aspects are not mutually exclusive.
Fair question, William. Our purpose is to drive dialogue - Mission Winnow is a chance to start a conversation and create an opportunity to listen and be heard.
It's Mission Winnow, and there's no brand or product within this initiative. We're building communities for people to share their thoughts on various topics, and we provide meaningful conversations in relation to continuous progress. We invite you to check what MW is all about and the latest updates here: www.missionwinnow.com/en
Was this before they knew each other well? in all the other clips I've watched they seemed so comfortable around each other and have got that brotherly bond. it's weird seeing them so uncomfortable and awkward with each other. ig this was the first time they did one of these clips together
Tron vibes, eh? Would be more mindblowing having them both in a cool car or motorcycle in such a setup. Don't mind the audio much when there's eye candy all around.😍
The fact is that there are no PMI-branded products within our initiative, and we challenge anyone to find anything that contradicts our promise: no brands or products. Regardless, we know changing people's preconceptions will take time, but having a conversation is a good place to start. Wouldn't you agree?
@@mission.winnow what does this initiative do exactly? Can you name any actual cause you promote? , my understanding from the vague website is alternative ways to push and promote alternatives to traditional tobacco and to change people's perspectives on any derivative products that may or may not exist in the future , also you're very very careful and selective of the words you use (avoid Phillip Morris for example ) I'm just a private citizen in Australia and formula fan and former smoker so I do appreciate the response either way
One thing is clear: there are not brands or products here. Mission Winnow is a change lab by PMI, focused on reframing global conversations, sparking open debate, connecting people and supporting the realization of innovative ideas. You can check our PROJECT RESET_ conversations, the collaborations with The Economist Events and The Dominant Ones on our social media channels.
@ - What Charles Leclerc has been saying about the relationship between Lando and Carlos isn't a beautiful thing to hear. He should have more respect for both of them. Just saying!

it's so strange to hear these millionaires talk about being confined at home when I went out as often as I wanted during lock down here in Austria. Why they didn't just go to a country with less strict rules is beyond me.
