I've been watching lots of walk-thru videos for RVs and this is by far the BEST one ever. Patrick has no high energy used car spiel or vocabulary just clear information and explanations. Patrick also knows the features that are important to RV users and explains their use and design very succinctly. Camera work is steady, smooth and clearly shows details with great close-ups of features and appropriate pause/hover time so you can really see the feature. Thank you I always hoped someone could do it right.
I was at this dealership this past Saturday, AWESOME place to visit, spoke to Pat direct about a Roadtrek 190 popular, super knowledgeable. Friendly and no pressure atmosphere, When i am ready i will be buying my RV from them, no question about it. Huge selection of AIRSTREAM also, While i was there i met a couple that drove down from Canada and ended up buying an Airstream from them.
Excellent presentation, I've watched so many videos with such boredom and confusing information, came across yours and watched with a sense of actually learning and understanding the vehicle you were presenting. When I'm ready, I'll be in search of a sales professional like yourself if not you. Thank you
Great video! One thing I find to be a bit confusing is the fish eye lense. By seeing everything stretched, you get a relatively distorted idea of the dimensions. Otherwise a perfect video. I especially enjoyed the attention to detail.
Hey, great walkthrough. Question for you: Would I be able to fit a mountain bike in the trunk space? And if so, would it still be possible to put the bed down? Maybe I put the bike in upside down (so the handlebars are on the floor)? Thanks much!
I would like to see a driving portion of the review. I want to know how it handles going down the road. The same goes for the trailers. I wouldn't mind a short video of it being towed behind an average pickup or tow vehicle just to get an idea of the type of vehicle I would need to have.. Keep up the good work. You do a superb job.
I like a lot of the features like the front work station, the fridge over the freezer and the MW drawer to save bending but I'm shopping for a full-time set up so there are things I'd need to have changed [deeper ss sink with a regular faucet, 2 burner induction cooktop, MW/Convection oven, replace front TV with book shelves, down size the TV in the rear lounge], will the factory do it or would I have to put more money into an already pricey house and hire it done? Every thing else was very impressive including your presentation.
Zero external storage spaces? That was a bit of a surprise. Also, are water lines/tanks exposed beneath the van or is this a proper all weather design?
Nice looking unit, one little correction though. DEF under the hood is Diesel Exhaust Fluid not Diesel Emissions Fluid. And I'm curious how much DEF this unit would use on a thousand mile trip?
Hey Patrick, go several questions: how reliable are the valve switches for the back and gray tanks? Did Airstream to extensive testing before applying the technology in their production line? Are the tanks heated with UltraHeat? Is there an alarm that signals you when temperature has dropped?
Great tutorial and why stand when you can sit taking a shower..lol I’m sold on this unit I am going to look at one today also it will fit behind my RV gate and no issues with my HOA
I wish the airstream grand tour are understand that there are emerging trend especially for this motorhome class not parking in rv park anymore. The compact size allow to boondocking inside or outside the city and right now it is important to be much more enviromentally friendly by using more the energy from the sun and water from the rain or nearest lake. So with that in mind, it is important to be as off grid in long periode of time, many people now sell their house, apartement and consider this type of motorhome is their own apartement on wheel. Your competitors has put more solar panels on their roof, it actually fill up the entire roof, of course except for the antenna, sky light, ac and other basic stuff and add at least 8 batteries to save all the energy . Moreover, right now they tried to make new ways to to have rain harvesting system and of course filter it as shower, and even drinking water consumption. Lastly, i think your design interiour is great, yet you should put proper electricity outlet behind the passenger seats for laptops, handphone, camera. Ahd remove that television. Better to put extra money with one television yet add personal built in mify or apple tv is better. For the bathroom i think better you have slide sink to save more rooms. The shower head and the faucet are still not set for water converse, so please fix that for 2015
It may be long, but it's a great vehicle... even if the camera distorts it. I've got to find out if darker=wood interior is available... too light for me.
Great video! This is probably one of the best walk through videos I've seen in a while. Curious to know how much customization is possible? For example, can this coach be all electric? Can you swap the propane stove for an induction? What about an on demand hot water system? How about a iPad controls like creston? Power window shades for the rear bed area and driver front window? I know these are item available on larger coaches but I'm curious how much is possible. Thanks
Well I did a search of these comments to be sure. I am shocked! Am I the only one who thinks you sound like Ray Romano!?? Just add a little bit of schmaltz and you've got him nailed down! This could work to your advantage! BTW, I'm coming in to see this Grand Tour in person, have a 40ft Class A to sell and then INTERSTATE!
Thank you for watching. The 2016's start in the mid 130's now and most folks are able to deduct the interest each year from their tax returns just like a 2nd home.
Thanks. I'm very impress with Airstream design in comparison with the other companies. In the near future, I would like to own one. For now we are trying to pay off our house. Thanks again.;-)
Amen. I keep on looking at various Class B units with floor plans or other things that I really like, but find myself wishing that they had the electrical system features that Roadtrek offers--under hood generator, up to 1600 amp hour lithium battery bank, etc. I think that the marriage of the Airstream construction with the Roadtrek electronics would be Class B Nirvana. Airstream . . . hellllloooooo . . . are you listening?
It's very nice......I Hate it!!! I'm old school and I like the traditional Airstream. Just my opinion.... PS....you filmed it kinda funcky!! Thank you! Go Airstream!!
Starting at 155K... Sigh... But let say you get one. Everywhere you go, everywhere you stop, the camper/RV community will immediately split into two groups: some will ask to borrow $50, some will look for ways to scratch an "f" word on the side with a rusty nail))) Actually, these two groups may be the same people))
+Brian H As much as you like to shoot people - and I'm sure you do - it's impossible to always be right next to this thing. Such an expensive vehicle just screams: "Nice things inside!!!" All one has to do is break the glass(((
El vehículo por si solo es bueno, el Equipamiento y acondicionamiento también esta bien muy cómodo y funcional. Pero es una ESTUPIDEZ un lente ojo de pescado que solo distorsiona la imagen. Lastima para 33 minutos. Mejor corrijan !!!
Nice looking unit, one little correction though. DEF under the hood is Diesel Exhaust Fluid not Diesel Emissions Fluid. And I'm curious how much DEF this unit would use on a thousand mile trip?
