Meritage is not a good builder. Do your homework on them.

@@Eman1900O Talked to a guy who worked for various home builders before striking out on his own. Perry Homes is probably the best in the Houston area. I own a Meritage Home---poor built and I have spent thousands correcting their shoddy workmanship.

Totally agree. Although most of them suck. DR Horton is one of the worst.

I have a Meritage Home that is 15 years old. This is not a quality builder. Tile is coming off in both upstairs bathrooms. Numerous electrical issues. Look at the reviews online. They are not good.
