One of my favourite Italian villages where we had a memorable meal on the terrace of the restaurant at the main entrance into town. One day I will return!

These 2 episodes are a great amendment to Magic carpet. The walk around with Aladino and you finding chestnuts and conversation in Italian is at the same time a Vista of beautiful Toscana.Maya your story telling is wonderful .The Aria on the G string (Bach) and the lyric tenor canzone added to the charm of these Vignettes.Aladino's teaching is perfect .Soon you will be chatting Italian like Aladino.Arrivederci ;Herman Rombouts.P/S.The tenors voice sounds familiar. But I forgot.
Ah, the thumbnail had... something about it and it wasn't til I clicked on it that I realized it's that beautiful couple from Sailing Magic Carpet. I was just thinking, you guys are working so hard on the Cape George refit that I was worried about you guys getting burned out. A trip to Tuscany to catch a breather. Good for you.
Thank you for gifting us with these two charming episodes! You’re travelling more or less on our tracks - we’ve just come back from our first vacations in Tuscany where we explored the area you’re in. It’s an amazing region!
Nice to see that you are not totally busy with your new boat! Did you see the famous serpentines near Montichiello? Did you discover the old wine storage halls beneath Palazzo Ricci already? The nicest town in Val d‘Orcia was for us San Quirico d‘Orcia, closely followed by Bagno Vignoni
Well, I just found out my very first girlfriend lives in Montepulciano and after wandering around Google Maps street view I really looked forward to your "caminata in campagna" for a solidly vicarious feel. I especially miss the castagne Aladino was picking that usually are sold roasting on coal braziers.
Hi, very pleased to see you branching out to other channel content, this channel will appeal to more than sailors with Majic Carpet but still has your individual approach to content. Bye
