Do the Southern Moreton Bay Islands, they're a freak show with an interesting history of escaped convicts, farmers, land scams and a self-sufficient population that had to do without police until the 1980s. An intriguing locality.
Hi Rob. I listen to you from the UK, so I’m sorry to miss your live feed. As much as I enjoy your chat I’m not getting up to listen at 5.30 in the morning 😂 My son lives in Brisbane and introduced me to your videos. I feel like I’m there without being there!!😁. Thank you😁
Hey Rob. Love your videos. Sorry missed live chat. How about investigating Wooloowin. I was in a children's home called Warilda after birth. Don't know much about the suburb history. ???❤❤❤
@walkaboutwithrob Missed this live stream, as was out 'exploring' Ferny Grove in the pouring rain (not for a video, but picking something up) - came home via circumnavigating good old Mt. Coot-tha. A couple of points, if you read the comments, otherwise I may remember some when we catch up this weekend: I sat down to have a late lunch when I came home, and watched the replay - now; here's the WEIRD thing! - On my big screen TV; you were vertical (portrait) BUT: when I switched over to my phone - you were indeed in landscape mode!!! Yes, there's always a slight lag between devices when streaming. The Logan film fest magazine you showed, has my friend Lark Lee in shot - she's made a number of films over recent years - a lovely girl she is. I've done a few videos on my channel at Mt. Crosby - the latest just a few weeks ago about the new bridge being opened. It's only 10 or 15 minutes from me, at the top of the mountain, so if you ever do a video there...you know...coffee, magpies...Let me know. The rest, I have forgotten in the time it took to come into my office, so 'll leave it there for now! haha
👋🏻 all present and correct and yes to both 😅 i have noticed that with my RU-vid on TV and on the phone.... you get 2 separate views and don't always get the same videos at the same time
