I'm gonna miss Hoyt. If ever he comes back they say that he lost consciousness even with his eye opened, but doctors were able to save him, and the Walkers didn't know about that.

So is the cast of walker independence the same cast as walker? Cause that looks like Hoyt and the sheriff.

The actor playing this version of Hoyt is the same as the Walker Independence version of Hoyt (his ancestor. I'm assuming they loved the actor so much they wanted to bring him back in some way) but he's the only actor that's in both, I believe. The actor that plays the sheriff in Independence is Greg Hovanessian.

The Walker show writers have said in interviews that they regretted killing off Hoyt and that they loved Matt Barr as a actor and that is part of the reason they wanted to create Walker Independence!
