Heard Fancy Like many time. Well heck, who in America hasn't. But after watching this clip that popped up, I think Country is finally getting back to being to getting it right. Looks like I'll be going back Country for awhile. I haven't been Country for a couple decades. Country has always had the opportunity to set an example for how life should be and has done so in the long past. Thank you Walker for showing that there's still hope and showing artist that there is still benefits to being wholesome and true to yourself, family and others. I grew up with Walker & Laney, & both their families. His father was a very special & well respected man. Knowing him, ‘Briefcase’ is tough to get through without getting choked up. So glad to see Walker, Laney & fam enjoy some real nashville success!
I love the popular tracks like "You Broke Up with Me" and "Fancy Like", but where I feel Walker Hayes really shines is with tracks like "Beckett", "Craig", "Chapel", "Dad's Sailboat", "Briefcase", and many of his others. If anyone hasn't had the chance yet, please do check out his entire catalog. I'm not much of a crier, but I sure did break down when I listened to each of the ones listed. I felt some anger towards my dad and when he passed a few years ago I kind of understood more about him God bless you and your family and God bless your singing, your voice and give you strength to keep moving on

To Walker Hayes; This is from one grieving kid to another. I am a few years old than yourself. At the age of 20 I lost Mom suddenly. She never saw me get married to the love of my life, she never got to meet our 2 boys (who are now 26 and 22), she missed my college graduation and me becoming a RN. Then my Dad passed suddenly when I was 40. Almost 20 years to the day. After years of tears and heart ache I finally realized my family and I are part of my parents legacy. Yes, I still miss them but now I push myself to bring more meaning to what they gave me. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope these words bring you some comfort. By the way my husband and I love dancing to your music. Thank you for not giving up when times were rough.

Time is precious one life no time for regrets tell loved ones once in awhile I love nothing wrong but showing it man speaks from the heart. I was not able to have my dad very long but are time and bond was like we never was a part but I miss my dad every day.
I can relate to Walker we are the same age. Listen to same music growing up. I have been taking care of my all timers dementia father for 4 years now recently has started getting much worse where getting closer to the end. So I can totally relate to some of what he went through with his father. God bless you keep sending us that music we love
My dad passed away in 2015 at 60 from alcoholism and my boyfriend of 8 years in 2021 (age 35) from the same. I learned of Walker Hayes from the Applebees commercial with Fancy Like as the song. The next thing I knew, a girl from a FB page I was on where I had shared the song to, sent me a personal video Walker had made for me! She knew him personally! I knew he was a beautiful person from that moment. He cared and related to my loss. I've been watching him and following him ever since. Seeing his career grow is so satisfying. He has a beautiful soul and deserves everything life is offering him. I just saw him last night for his second concert of this tour and everyone chanted after he left the stage, SO loudly that he came back out and sang 2 more songs!! This guy is legit. He's going to the top!

My heart breaks for you. I lost my dad day before wedding . All I ever wanted was the father daughter dance.I have learned through the pain to keep the cherished memories close to my heart so he will always be with me. Just take time to breath and know he is your guardian angel watching over and protecting you .🙏💖💞💕💞
I feel for your Dad and your family. I can relate because my husband also has parkinsons disease. This disease with all of its issues including dementia/alzhiemers is heartbreaking. His parkinsons is due to agent orange from when he was in the Vietnam War. My dear husband is in end stage. I took care if him until I couldn't any longer. He is now in a VA nursing home.
So sorry for your loss. I loss my grandma to Alzheimer's and my uncle (her son) to parkinson's both were horrible and very hard on them both. I took care of my grandma for the last year of her life before she passed. All but the last month before she passed when she was in a rest home. My heart and prayers definitely go out to you and your family. God bless y'all

I totally relate to the juggle of life. I am a mother to 5 sons. I tried to be the best mother I could be but at the same time I fought a personal battle trying to provide the best life I could. I wanted to make a living at something that most of the world was saying, "that's a man's job!". I'm insisting at least let me try!!!. I can't feed 5 growing boys on a clerk's salary! Finally I got that chance in 1978. Keep chasing the dream!

Coming from Mobile, Walkers hometown I've been a fan for over 5 years spreading his name and music to all my Yankee relatives who love his music now.His dad was a great guy known by everyone in Mobile. I was very disappointed to find his next appearance here in Mobile the cheapest tickets are over $100 each pretty much double all other acts at same venue..Really Walker?? 💔
