I just wanted to thank you for making a great video. Each time I break something and I need to relevel the swash I watch it again to refresh my memory.
Very good clip. Thanks Mine was solid out of the box Ordered BNF. when flying around and making approaches, the tail bobs up and down almost uncontrollable.
Good video much easier to figure this radio out with your video then using their book. Just wanted to say that this actually flys okay right out of the box. The setup where you set everything at 90 deg with the swash plate at 0 deg pitch it really for advanced 3d flying. I know it's the correct way to setup a heli but if you want to just get into the air if flys just fine. If you are a novice and only fly in normal flight no inverted I would just run this right out of the box maybe set the exponential little higher run about +35% that will make the stick soft in the middle so you don't over correct. Setting +10 -10 is for an someone who is a 3d pilot.
Really good video. Helped me at mine up again after I made a mess of it. Comment on sub-trim not being remembered, it seems to je that it does remember it. It doesn't say anything in the the manual that is not remembered and it wouldn't make sense of it wasn't.
I thought it was supposed to be pre-set.Ali said it flew straight from the box. The main-shaft and swash plate on mine were completely unbalanced.Vibrated to pieces in 5 seconds. Heli-pal offered a replacement main shaft and swash plate at 20% off but no guarantee it is pre-balanced. Unless some one offers a balancing set-up service. Is the Radio only used on Walkera? I'm so cheesed-off by the helicopter I was considering stripping out the RC and installing in a scratch built plane.
Thanks for a great video. One question,,,When you started making your adjustments and moved the throttle stick to half stick,,,What flight mode were you in?? Normal or stunt?? Jim
It's not like the G-CP. No way to turn off the 6-axis. (So far, hope they do that in a firmware update.) But you can search RCGroups or HeliFreak for the Tx settings that make it fly a lot more like a 3-axis gyro.
Hello. I have v120 too. But one of servo is outof order and changed the servo to new one. But My v120 can't leave the ground. The main rotor spin very fast. But that's all. I chaged the servo and screw bolt of main shaft ring. Please could you give me an advice to what I'm doing wrong?
Help! When I set it up like you instructed I get very low lift power (when the blades are same height at 50% throttle). When I change it so the blades are not tracking at 50% I get significantly more lift power but the tail is not locking and moves with each throttle stick input. I will mention that I have the new V120D02S but I don't thing theres any difference except for the receiver, the ESC and the motor. I set it up like you, servo arms at 90 deg at 50% pitch, swash leveled and at mid height
I Hello! Im new to helicopters...I just bought this heli... Im looking to set it up just for normal beginner flying. Will all this work for the way I want to fly, or is this mostly how to set up for 3d flying? Im still trying to figure out the pitch and throttle curves, and half of what my radio does. I have the devo 7... Any info would be a great help! TY for your vids they are very helpfull!
I realize the poster will probably never reply. But, I'd like to know if when you say "zero stick", do you mean in idle up or normal mode? The pitch seems to be in different positions at "zero stick" in normal and idle up modes.
can you tell me you pitch curve for this heli? I´m having main rotor vibrations, after I set up the head, can be this posible? what can i do to fix it? Thankyou very much
