I live in the northeast of Scotland and know the places you visit really well - well enough to be super-impressed at how your ability to capture beautiful photography comes through. Your channel is full of so many great ideas - we're lucky to have you living here!
I am a married mother of 2, work a full time job and an artist. I long to travel so badly, so I'm so appreciative of these videos as I'm living vicariously thru you and your travels. Many days I feel 'stuck' in life and these videos help❤ -Kate
Just wonderful. I solo walked 120 miles on the Cornish Celtic Way out of season in 2022, I didn’t paint but I wrote every day and the experience was profound. I think your video has given me the idea for my next long walk. Thank you so much, your videography is stunning.
Cool video (Lossie person here). Re: the mudflats at Culbin. You'll notice the dozens of poles sticking up from the ground. They're WW2 defences too - anti glider landing defences. For years I thought they were to do with fishing nets or something.
You know they say life is no fairytale,....but listening to the music in the background, thinking about your love story, your full time artist lifestyle, in Scotland navigating the coast, filming, and painting. I'm guessing there must be days you wake up and pinch yourself. It sounds magical. And I don't want that to sound unrealistic. I know like many of us you struggle with mental health, and life is well life. But gratitude can literally heal pain, trauma, and other emotional ailments. And your story is really quite lovely and dreamy. I experience joy in watching your journey.
I know it can seem that way when watching someone else’s life online. But remember we don’t share everything. Although I do share personal stuff in many of my vlogs, there’s also a lot I don’t go into because it’s just too painful or uncomfortable. But yes I do pinch myself when I remember where I am. Often times it feels surreal. I’ve actively made choices to seek beauty in life.
Thank you for your great video. I stay in moray myself. But i loved it. As im a horticulturist and photographer. I will look out for your video s. I wish you well.
Oh wow that’s another great travel video with tons of fun inspirational views to paint 🎨 or just enjoy!! Definitely a must see for the bucket 🪣 list. I really appreciate & enjoyed seeing your journey with this wonderful trip! Thanks for sharing this with us & giving us a little piece of joy for the day! 💕🥰
Thank you for putting this together for us. I'm so happy to see this little part of Scotland close to your home! I love geology and history so it's amazing to see and hear about the dinosaur footprints, fossils and caves. I hope you're taking care!
I recently watched your video and was curious about the book your brother bought for you called “Set in Stone”. I bought the book myself and I’m loving the read! It’s amazing to learn about the geological history of Scotland in it. I live near Mt. Rainier in Washington State, uSA..a 14,000 footer.. Glencoe ( one of your favorite spots) at one time was about 47,000 feet! Yikes!
Isn't it the most fascinating book?? I am in awe of the vast history and love seeing the evidence and layers of history when I hike especially on the coast.
Looking Forward the next spring hikes. You are great. Ive seen the Videos on your second channel. Want do watch them all the time. So great views. Thank you so much dear Sarah!!!!
Absolutely beautiful video Sarah, we just did a section of the trail, and it was actually a comment on my video that brought me to yours! And I'm glad they did :) What a wonderful coastline to call home.
A lot of tips on what to do and where to eat and last, but not least - tips in hiding. What to think of and it was nice to see all the natur You were goning through.
Wow! Thank you Sarah! So beautiful!…and solo! I’ll be watching this for lots of inspiration over and over again. Your work, photography, and sketching and painting, is just so fabulous! Thank You again, and may God bless your travels! 🎨🙏🏻🖌☘️
THANKS A LOT FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO! GREAT EDTING! And how is Vader? I hope that he is recovered! Do you have a video explaining how to paint shadows with watercolors?
Simply incredible. You made my Sunday and I appreciate your efforts to share this. I too would not venture to deep within the rocky caves without a partner in case of a twisted ankle. Takes time to find before tide returns. Not sure you realize but you are opening viewers eyes to Scotland beauty.
Lovely to see the highlights of you hiking the coast all in one video! I’d love to visit Scotland and tour around to see/sketch the castles… and the coast.
Wow, what an amazing journey you had along the Moray Coast, Sarah! 🌊🚶♀🚴♀ It's so inspiring to see you breaking up the trail into small day trips and working towards your dream of walking, cycling or kayaking around the entire coast of Scotland and Islands 🏴🤩 Your video was so captivating and I loved seeing all the beautiful views along the way, especially the steep Cliffs 🌄👀🎨 It was also so cool to see the Castle and the fossils and pictish carvings in some of the caves! 🏰🦕🎨 Thank you for sharing all your behind the scenes and advice and tips for anybody who wants to try this in the future. I have subscribed to your channel and I can't wait to see more of your adventures! 😍🙌
Great wrap-up video of this leg of your journey. I enjoy your beautiful photography so much. Scotland, especially its coasts, is such an incredibly lovely country.
Did you shoot the drone footage yourself as well? A very nicely put-together video, well done. I'm moving to Moray myself in a couple of weeks so I'm making notes... :) btw if anyone wants to buy one of those beach huts at Findhorn, there's currently one up for sale, at a mere £27,500!
Loved reliving this journey with you. Such a beautiful place. Thank you for putting it all together. It is like a mini vacation for me since we are in the middle of some arctic air these last two days. Was 15degrees below zero Fahrenheit this am. Sooo cold.
@@sarahinscotland it was a bit. Somewhat unusual for central New England,USA. but started to warm up today. Got to 10degrees above today. Will be getting warmer as the week goes on. Luckily a short freeze.
He’s doing OK. Not back to normal, although sometimes he almost seems so. Each day is different. The other day he wanted to play for hours and then slept the rest of the day. Today he was super lethargic and didn’t want to play at all. There’s still lingering symptoms, especially in his legs, but the bright side is I see little improvements each day. I think it might just be awhile before he is himself. I’m just happy he is still with us 🥰
