Camberley. On our way back from London after our first-weekend leave after Passing-Out at Arborfield, two of us caught a train from Waterloo intending to get off at Wokingham. We both fell asleep and missed the announcement at a station along the line that the first two cars would be heading for Wokingham and the last two for Camberley. We woke when the train hit the buffers at the end of the line at Camberley Station. It was past midnight and we had a long walk, army suitcases and all, to Arborfield. Thanks to the lady who stopped for us at the hour of the night, and gave us a lift part of the way.
