Hi HW, Thank you for the window shopping. Love the variety of shops. The Hobby shop was stocked well with models. Takes me back to Christmas, when my children were younger. Weather here, similar temperatures yo Sydney, with rain and sunny intervals. Let's hope that the summer returns for the six weeks summer holidays for the school children. Enjoy the weekend. 🙏
@@carollizzi6494 Wow you’re still getting dudded by the weather. Shame. That car was the only thing I ever received out of that hobby store. It used to be located on George Street not far from the Cinemas. You enjoy your weekend too.
Nice one HW thanks for the vid. Interesting and challenging times for retail at present especially hospitality. I see the Bunnies had eels for supper lol. Have a great week mate. 😊P
@@logocafe7624 Thanks for watching man. Bunnies yes. As for tough times. We all know what the events are causing it. But you’re not allowed to speak about them. It might stop the few at the top from accumulating more wealth.
Hi HW. Great video in the QVB, what a fantastic building; glad the Council decided to keep it. Where that white 13 Cabs taxi was parked is the very spot I parked our hire car while we collected our cases from the suites before the drive to Canberra. Funny how the little things jog the memory.
Always nice to see the Queen Vic Building, to think it nearly got demolished. There used to be a great pizza place on the lower ground floor, been gone for a long time now, but it was nice, different from the chain places. Enjoy your sports this weekend HW.
The opening clips in the hoppy store would make any kid drool! Seems you guys have a lot of shopping options. Good way to spend a rainy or cold day doing a little window shopping. Have a great rest of your weekend HW!
@@hwtours No, although they are legal to light off in South Carolina, most neighbored associations like ours do not allow it! They really know how to put a damper on a celebration!! So, we spend the day eating burgers and hot dogs!
Great vid HW, really enjoyed it ! I spent 6 hours in the city last Friday at the Dental Hospital near central...my poor daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. 🦷🦷🦷🦷 I had time to get a Won Ton noodle soup in Market City, walk up and down Paddy's, and check out Hobbyco, too. I noticed while you were in Hobbyco, the store music was playing..weren't you worried by a copyright strike? The old Hoyts cinemas brought back memories of 1977, when I saw Starwars there...14 times ! So, the 🐇 have gotten over their myxomatosis, and are coming good, finally? 🐇🪓🐓 Jim.
@@evogardens Oh welcome back Rooster Jim. Congrats on your win this arvo. Yes the old wisdom teeth. I know what’s it’s like. I had all four removed while awake. Spent days biting down on gauze to stop the bleeding. You are correct about the music in Hobbyco. I got pinned for that and also the coffee shop. Had to edit some bits out, which was super annoying. Star Wars 14 times haha. These aren’t the droids you’re looking for.
@hwtours I did a video once with my other channel, in Hobbyco, and got a copyright warning because Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" was playing over the speakers...my video got banned in Russia, for some reason ! I know some people that try to talk over the music, sometimes don't get a strike; so I was wondering how you went. The daughter still looks like she went 1 round with Tyson... Yeah, the mighty chooks are roasting hot this year !
@hwtours I'm into collecting model cars & Firetrucks; so I've got a channel called REDTRUX. Then, on evogardens, I just do a few gardening and food videos, mostly. Both channels are pretty average.. Yeah, Storm & Panthers are still the one's to beat...but you never know.
The building on the corner of Pitt and Bathurst Streets is an interesting one. The Chinese developers, Greenland, got some dispensations by incorporating the steel frame of the original Water Board/Sydney Water office tower within the development. That would explain some of the odd angles. Not everyone is happy with the aesthetics of the lower levels though. And the floor numbering is apparently a bit of a mess in keeping with Chinese superstitions.
