The Atlantic City Boardwalk spans over four miles along the Atlantic Ocean. On the boardwalk there are an array of shops, delectable restaurants, and dynamic entertainment options for every preference. I also check out Steel Pier, an amusement park enchanting visitors since 1898.

Thanks. I was going to do AC this year, but changed my plans to Las Vegas this year, and now looking to go to AC next summer. I think the combination of casinos, beach, and the boardwalk and Steel Pier will make for a very nice week stay next summer.

Once past Tropicana there’s a bike rental place on the boardwalk, I rented for a few hours and rode down the boardwalk to the end and rode on the bike path in the street to margate and stopped at Lucy the giant elephant that was recently refurbished. Nice ride, totally different than grungy AC

Wild Wild West is gone....used to be between Bally's and caesars....mall on pier has been vacant . AC unfortunately is not what is used to be 10 years ago

There was a time they were going to ditch the casinos and focus on being just a beach town, but that casino money is hard to let go.

This video is sad to me as I too have not been to AC in a long time and the last few time I went during the day and night the place was packed with people...now its desserted. Day and night and the buses arrived practically every minute from NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore etc with gamblers ready with their rolls of quarters. Now it is empty stores, empty boardwalk and just a few people actually on the beach. Casinos are either closed down or torn down and not much is there now, certainly not enough to warrant the three hour drive from NYC there any more.
