Walking (caminar) in Centro Montevideo, Uruguay Oct 2016 (1)
The walking street is called Sarandi.
I've been having problems with my camera lately. It gets crooked often. So, sometimes I need to rotate the video in Adobe Premiere, then I need to zoom in. This will lower the quality of the video sometimes.
Camera: DJI Osmo and DJI Microphone

thanks, it was a nice walk thru my old barrio. I moved back to Los Angeles now, but I'm planning to go visiting my birth country very soon. My sweet Montevideo.

Thank you for sharing your interesting and natural walk. What an atmospheric place. As we do gopro walks too in soulful places in Europe, it's always lovely to see places further afield that we may never get to go to, we enjoyed absorbing the atmosphere and have subscribed.

This is a really helpful reply, thanks LbA. It's on our list of places to investigate now. (We've heard quite a bit about Mate btw - we've had some here at home, but it was just the dried leaves and a pale imitation I would imagine...)

I sometimes watch the WebCams from Vera cameras. The old guy at 00:29 is always hanging out around the Mercado del Porto and the Peatonal Sarandi and I see him from time to time wandering around. Ha, small world.

Para mí es finales de enero y febrero, aparte de tener buen tiempo está el carnaval que dura 40 días y es muy disfrutable

@@MS06846 El frío por lo general arranca en mayo y termina en setiembre, igual hay dias en estos meses que llegan a los 20 grados sin problema. Pero oscilan entre los 7/8 grados a los 16 grados en invierno. Por suerte dentro de poco va a estar más disfrutable. A mi entender la mejor época para visitar Montevideo es fines de Octubre a Noviembre y Febrero/Marzo.

Lloyd Salo it says in the title that it was a walk on October . 2016. Although in October is already Spring in Montevideo, it can still have very chilly days.

Sarandi Street is not an avenue. Each building there has a particular history and shows a different architecture style. The video must focus all that and not the paviment and walkers.
