It's so amazing to see a place like this. I love the form of identity that people have here unlike the U.S. which just feels like a blend of everything. I was born in the U.S. My grandmother was from Mexico however. I've gotten to experience so many things through her that are so unique to Mexico. it's a shame that most Americans won't experience it, unfortunately. - Holla de Texas
I've been several times but that was at least 12 years ago. I miss going, I was treated like visiting royalty. But now the travel bureau recommends Americans avoid going.

La mera verdad está muy gacho el centro y sus colonias polvorientas,el parque chamizál todo gachote y si tiene una que otra cosa 2-3 la ciudad pero para vivir jamás!! TODAS LAS FRONTERAS están bien gachas en todos los aspectos,por que lo digo? Por qué las conozco todas y no se ofendan gente fronteriza ustedes saben que es verdad.
not quite the same from 1970. i ran all over this city in 1970 and i was only 16 years old. no one ever bothered me just a nice smile. one thing i do remember is the wax museum close to the penny bridge that the Frankenstein dummy chased us around the museum and scared the crapola out of us! long live juarez!
1990 viví allá y francamente no le hicieron el favor, llenaron de puestos toda esa zona, recuerdo los portales, cerca de ahí había un puesto que vendía mucho de tortas de colitas de pavo, por esa calle estaba plaza coloso y existía un supermercado llamado hipermart, que luego se fusiona con soriana. Estaba mejor antes.
We did not see anything bad but we mainly stayed by the consulado which people say it’s the safest area. We did go on a paid tour to several places in Juarez but since it’s a guided tour it seem very safe. Hopefully you have a good time if you decide to go.
@@geraldarnoultthe US should hype the dangers that you can encounter in Mexico. A scant decade ago, Juarez, without a doubt, was a war zone. No hype needed.
depende que tan acostumbrado estés a caminar, en lo personal no está lejos, si puedes evitar cruzar en auto y así evitas la fila de regreso, si cruzas por el puente de la ave juarez caminarás acaso un kilómetro para llegar a este lugar....saludos!!!
