I was in WPB in 2020 for 8 months, I worked on Rosemary avenue, and then everything shut down in March due to covid, and it went from lively to ghostown surreal in a day, but at least felt like I had the whole city to myself, it's really beautiful there
Good Wednesday Morning My Friend West Palm Beach Florida is A Beautiful View Thank You So Much For Inviting All Of Us To Walk Along With You As Always Much Hugs And Love Ms British Gray From Tampa Florida Blessings :)
Yes you need money to live there, but to visit such a beautiful location with plenty of eateries and so much to see is even better. I love the art display mushrooms and the happiest elephant I've ever seen, just takes me to my happy place 💖 .
What a beautiful walk. I loved the history talk at the beginning, I could just mentally visualize just the land, water and Native Indians before immigrants came and wreaked havoc. Then someone had a vision and this beautiful place was made into what it is today.
You realize that by the very nature of the principles upon which it was founded, the United States-more than any other nation-"beckons to its shores the downtrodden, the persecuted, and all those “yearning to breathe free"? We should be embracing and respecting those that come to this country. We don't treat them like annoying pests that make our lives miserable. Remember that before making an ignorant and racist comment.
Good to see this video, Ken. Thanks for this. Also, coincidentally, a popular RU-vidr by the name of Acura Amanda is from West Palm Beach. And the Trump's Mar A Lago home is nearby, too. ... As of the time I am typing this (Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023), much of the country is about to get a winter storm, including New York. Thankfully it won't be a problem down there. Cheers from northeast Ohio.
WPB is a great city. I've got family that live there & I fell in love with the place when I first went in 2019. Clematis Street at night is the place to be.
West Palm Beach is a nice clean place for the young, professional crowd. It's also a nice place for families. Palm Beach is still the seat of all of the Elite families who founded this country and moved it forward based on their capitalist ideals. Maybe next time, ActionKid, you could include the Palm Beach Speedway, northwest of West Palm Beach?
West Pal Beach looks beautiful , beautiful buildings and the scenery looks great as well 🙂Beautiful palm trees🌴 6:38 , nice place to hang out , atleast looked like that to me 7:47 ,nice boats at right 9:09 , nice looking mexican restaurant 11:22 😎So many nice restaurants along your walk 🙂Overall enjoyable , relaxing and nice walk therefore , thank you for sharing AK 🙂👍!!!
4:08 Gorgeous water front views! 😍 37:22 This was a live review for you but not live for us viewers. 😂 The juices look so refreshing for a sunny day! 😃 I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere at The Square. 😎 Thank you for sharing this relaxing, scenic walk in West Palm Beach again, AK! 🤗 FYI - Your wireless mic was rubbing against something throughout the whole video. 🙁
Very nice walk! I did spot quiet a few vacant retail spaces. Is that because these are new developments yet to be filled or they were occupied before covid but shutdown due to covid?
I lived in West Palm Beach for 10 years, from 2012 until 2022. I've lived in 4 separate buildings downtown. It's an absolte paradise to live. I've recently traveled across the USA by car and lived on the road for 5 months. I have to say that West Palm Beach is possibly the nicest town in America (at least downtown). Unfortunately once you go west of the highway there's not much to see.
Well Done. You were not intrusive on peoples space. I watched another guy ( JSOCAL ) who made a vid similar to yours but it was so creepy how he would turn the camera to follow women all over the vid! Very Creepy!!!! …YO!
Great video. Went to WPB a couple weeks ago and having spent a lot of time all over Florida throughout my life I have to say it's my favorite town so far. It's got a very chill attitude that can't be beat. I have to recommend a couple places: Surfside Diner is great for lunch. We had an awesome dinner at Avocado Grill. You can shoot pool at E.R. Bradley's and they have good live music. And the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is awesome. The Drive Shack out by the airport is a lot of fun too. One more place, and I know it's not in West Palm Beach proper but Brogues Irish Pub is an excellent place as well. Can't wait to get back down there.
I need to move to west palm. you went from a quiet waterfront to an out-party action scene. This, my bro, is my type of city. I was born and raised in NYC (Astoria) but I need the West Palm vibe.
Lynora's on Clematis Street has some of the best Italian food in the West Palm Beach area. They have had restaurants in Palm Beach County for many years.
Amazing place. By the way, is there a pub or nightclub in the area that plays rock (metal) music? I don't mean just West Palm Beach but Miami. Because as I see in the walking videos, most of the places are clubs that play music that I don't like. Would they be in places that out of the way?
We try to spend more time over on the east coast of Florida this year. We have spent most of our winters in the last 10 years in the Naples area because of friends and my sister lives here. But it is not friendly over here for tourists. You cannot walk along the waterfront like this in Naples even want you to park near there unless you’re a resident. I do love it over there and I have walked this walk you’re on I wish I was there right now instead I’m over in Naples I can hardly get over near the water/ beachand there’s nowhere to park over here
Wow! What a beautiful place! There's something for everyone in West Palm Beach. It can be laid back and serene. (which I like) Or it can be a happening party place! Whatever you want it to be. The architecture is beautiful. So quaint and charming and it's colorful and festive and fun. It's so beautiful by the water! I especially liked that large ball sculpture by the fountain. It was so cool with large sequin art scattered sporadically on it. I felt so sorry for that poor dog though. The one that was exhausted with one injured leg. He was having a terrible time holding up his front leg while his master forced him to keep up. I could see the poor thing needed to rest. (sigh)
It was cool walk, but constant sound of creak or cnock (it was microphone or smartphone, i don't know) little bit ruined impression of the walk. 19:51 & 21:38 for an example.
Excellent video - I’m planning my trip next feb.2024 to Miami and would love to take the brightline train to WPB - spend all day long there and come back . Is it worthwhile ?
