Love Berlin, every opportunity to stay over we take it. German people are fantastic and helpful. Sometimes we even go out of our way when returning to Northern Ireland and we take a few days to re-visit Berlin. Lovely, lovely people.
The last time I walked that way was in the summer of 1946 . Berlin still laid in ruins , but most of the streets had been cleaned. I remember the red brick-stone Rathaus , the Dom , passing the Ehrenmal , and Zeughaus , looking at the old Fritz on his horse , the Humbolt University , crossing Friedrich Strasse , and seeing the Brandenburger Tor in front of me . Every place still had the marks of the war , and I remember the naked Grosse Tiergarten where most of the trees had been damaged or cut down for firewood . The Russian War Memorial hadn't been build , and after that I knew you would make a right turn to go in the direction of the Hauptbahnhof . Where now you have the Regierungsvirtel , stood once an amusement park . The river Spree still flowing as usual , and then crossing the Moltke Bruecke . I can't count how many times I crossed that bridge . Then the site of the Hauptbahnhof , the largest station in Europe , spanking new , where once stood the Lehrter Bahnhof . The last time I visited Berlin was in 1993 . I have to congratulate you on your excellent video . You picked a nice sunny day . Thanks a lot , Rudi
Very beautiful video and the most I like nobody comments for anything , It’s the sound of silence. Thank you for making these videos that anyone can understand and see the places as they really are and just having the real view of a place a country making his own conclusions for everyday ordinary life of the place without having to hear somebody talking and Blah!Blah! It’s most like an art of documentary It is exactly this , one picture a thousand words ,Thank you again.

Absolutely a very cool video of the popular areas of Berlin or at least what most tourists get to see. I was there a few years ago and saw much of what is shown in the video.
Great video ! Amazing how you manage to keep the camera sooo stabilized during the whole recording. And to walk from Alex to the Federal Chancellery is quite a long walk ! Loved that you didn't use the "zoom", so it really takes the viewer on a "real life journey experience", exactly the way he would see it. AMAZING ! My sincerest congratulations... !
Enjoying the walk with you in the sunshine. I lived there in the east 30 years ago, lots of change too place, for the good! Thanks for taking us along.
Keezy You should have made an exception by passing the Brandenburg Gate in slow motion with the musical background of the first allegro of the Fifth Brandenburg concerto by J.S. Bach
Hello I suggest that you should put English subtitles on so I will know what street are you walking and filming from Alexnderplatz to Brandenburger Tor so that will be very helpful for us all to know the area in Berlin as well. cheers
Most of the construction work is now done, only the reconstruction of the former royal city palace is on going. Actual status: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p1DU2rVHYXk.html

We Japanese love Germany and Germans very much. God bless Germany and Germans! Germany and Germans are the best in the world!Japan always supports Germany.
Well berlin is huge. There is still a charming feel to the buildings that survived the war. But sadly much of berlin is just post war buildings. So its very unnatural. Berlin used to be such a nice city. War is shit
