I lived in Massachusetts from 1999 to to 2009. I attended College in the Back Bay from 2003 to 2005. I miss the downtown Boston area. Thanks for the video.
My wife and I have just returned back home to Glasgow, Scotland after spending 7 incredible days on vacation in Boston. We stayed in the Back Bay area and have fallen in love with city. What a beautiful fantastic place with a wonderful history to visit and walk about in. We hope to return again one day. Thanks for posting this video as making us wish we were back already
People who are well off can afford to live right in Boston, but most of us live in the outskirts of Boston, either in Cambridge, Allston, Brighton, Brookline, Dorchester. There are some good areas and much cheaper in those other cities and towns around Boston.
The smallest ones are often for children. Others appear small but have actually sunk into the ground a bit. And then there is just the cost - bigger and fancier would cost more money, just like today.
