Es cierto, también lo hacen durante muchas horas. Prefiero caminar yo mismo, para que tu cuerpo se ejercite un poco, y un paseo en barco por el canal también es divertido.
I'm so jealous, this walk looks super enjoyable and the weather couldn't have been much bnicer for you. Old city aesthetic, the canals, and how walkable the city is makes me wish I could live there. A lot of waffles, chocolates and beer to go around it seems. One downside is how a lot of stores felt very touristy, so I'm not sure how much of a feel for the locals I've gotten. The square around the belfry is probably my favorite area in this walk. Bonus: walking into a dream 1:09:19 P.S. Do you ever get lost on the walks? Especially with all the streets and alleys you went through on this walk (Over an hour!)
Evening Pyrex, glad you enjoyed the walk, Bruges has become quite a tourist hotspot in Belgium and that of course brings opportunities for commercial companies 😋 The city has taken several measures to keep the tourist crowds bearable for the local population. The dream walk you mentioned is within the beguinage of Bruges-centre, it dates back to the 13th century, but the current white houses were built between the 16th and 18th centuries. I do get lost while filming 😅 i had to shorten the video at 01:07:43 because i walked into a dead end. To avoid getting too lost and overwhelmed with a new location, i always explore before launching the camera, it took me about 3 hours exploring Bruges to try and remember the hot spots. It's a lot easier when there are tall buildings i can use as focal points.
Hi Sevy ! This is one of my very favourite places for sure. It is not only charming and awesome but it s also a great example of the good nature of mankind when well preserves unique ancient places like that. Thank you, Uber drivers are allowed to operate in Bruges but are apparently not that popular, there also seems to be a law to protect official taxi drivers.
