آتشكده‌های بسیاری در ایران ساخته شده‌اند كه برخی از آن‌ها همچنان پابرجا هستند؛ از جمله آتشکده زرتشتیان کرمان که آخرین آتشکده این استان به حساب می‌آید. آتشکده و موزه مردم‌شناسی زرتشتیان بدون هیچ رقیبی تنها موزه مردم‌شناسی جامعه زرتشتیان جهان محسوب می‌شود که بسیار دیدنی و پر مخاطب است. این تنها مزیت آتشکده نیست و زمانی که برای دیدن این مکان می‌روید، به شهادت موبدان و تاریخ‌نویسان، آتشی که در آتش‌دان کهن آن وجود دارد، همان آتش مقدس و پاک چند هزار ساله‌ای است که از معبد ورهرام هندوستان به ایران منتقل شده است.بازدید از آتشکده زرتشتیان که آتش مقدسی در آتش‌دان آن شعله ور است؛ امکان آشنایی با رسم‌های مذهبی زرتشتیان را برای علاقه‌مندان فراهم می‌کند. این آتش بر اساس نظر موبدان زرتشتی، همان آتش چند هزار ساله‌ای است که از هند به آتشکده محله شهر و از آنجا در روز سروش از ماه شهریور ۳,۶۵۲ یزدگری به این آتشکده انتقال یافته است. به‌گفته موبد آتشکده هر بار که بناها تخریب شده است و زرتشتیان در شرایط مختلف میعادگاه و نیایشگاه خود را جا‌به‌جا کرده‌اند، آتش به مکان دیگری منتقل می‌شد. آتش درون آتشکده نیز از پیش از دوره ساسانیان روشن نگه داشته شده است. با من قدم بزنید و از تور قدم زدن در این مکان لذت ببرید.
