A long walk around Paphos starting from the harbor where we visit the Medieval Castle of Paphos. Heading back to town we pass along the Bar street which is quiet during the day in winter.
Some jogging follows through suburbian Paphos towards Kings Avenenue and Lighthouse beach. The sun already is down with a nice atmosphere on this romantic beach. We end the walk seeing the Medieval Castle again from the beach.

Crikey, Bar St has changed. I've been tp Paphos 32 times from the age of 12, I'm now 44! I met my wife there, got engaged there and got married there (not all in the same holiday lol.) My mate Nick used to run the Rose Pub and I was friendly with Con & Lou (I think it was) That were Greek Australians who ran the Hollywood bar. A few of the locals came to our wedding at the Town Hall. The 1st time I went, Paphos airport wasn't even open so we had to go to Larnaca and then get a taxi to the then Ledra Beach Hotel and that was well before the motorway was built too. We mainly stayed at the Aliathon Village and the Cypria Maris after the Ledra though. Thanks for the upload, brings back fond memories.

Thank you for this comment! This is a nice story. Thanks for sharing! The Paphos walk was filmed off-season in January 2019. I returned this year in February 2020 and walked around more places on Cyprus. @@poptravelorg Thanks! Cyprus has a huge place in my whole families hearts, we just fell in love with Paphos. I've only ever been to Larnaka once, that was on our 1st visit and was purely sightseeing (other than arriving and departing from there.) We also went to Cairo on that 1st holiday, we sailed from Limassol to Port Said, had a day in Cairo and then sailed back! My wife and I have been to Paphos for Christmas and once in January for her birthday, Bar St was a ghost town lol but the Rose Pub was open lol. I'll be sure to look at your other videos and oh, I subbed based on your excellent content. Thanks again.

I was here this Summer and it was very humid and I was sweaty almost all of the time since I’m Northern European.. 😂.. but it was very beautiful and this video represents that!

I was here in December, January and it was 25c still lovely and warm but cold at night, I’m coming back for Xmas & new year this year

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that. I certainly was a bit in a rush. I jogged some parts at last as the sun went down. My camera is more made for daylight. I enjoyed Paphos also thanks to this beach walk which is quiet and peaceful then. I want to return to Cyprus to see more. Will see when it works out

Paphos me parece interesante! Su ciudad tiene mezcla de lo antiguo y moderno. También me hizo recordar en algunos lugares, esa sensación de ciudad de Latinoamérica. Lo que más me gustó fue el principio: El mar, cuando golpea las olas con las piedras!....👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾

Kiosk at the beach is the best place own by Nikitas and the legentary navy seal KOUTAS And be a shame not to mention famous Pisiaras that he is often there doing the Tasty BBQ

Indeed, in winter it's rather quiet there. It did fit in my travel plans and I'm glad I went. For more action surely renting a car and going all around the island is good fun during summer.

@@evelynnewlands9897 iam from paphos , shops will be open but town is not alive as in summer with tourists and locals coming from studies abroad..its an island and usually islands are dead in winter times , i hate it to be honest
