It is so beautiful and peaceful! And raining adds some special atmosphere... Just perfect!!!!

89 jaar geleden hier geboren, school gegaan, vak geleerd op die goeie ouwe ambachtsschool aan de Madelaan, na 30 jaar uit Delft vertrokken maar oh oh, ondanks de regen was het een feest der herkenning om deze film te zien, zo feilloos de karakteristieke oude stad weergegeven, hulde daarvoor!

I spend half of my time in Delft but I'm still watching this. It's, dare I say it, the most perfect town in the world?

I lived in Delft for two years during my masters degree at TU Delft. As an international student coming from completely chaotic country, Delft was so calm and peaceful. During stressful weeks, of which there were many, I used to put on walking in rain in NYC, tokyo, among others. Brings me immense joy to see someone made this based in Delft. Good job! Dankuwel.

Beautiful as usual Dear Thomas. I used to live in Den Haag in 2014, working in an international organization there for almost a year. It's been one of the best years of my life. Used to go around every single weekend, alone or with colleagues, and used to visit often off-the-beaten tracks towns and villages in the countryside. There hasn't been a place I disliked... or a day when I didn't like living in the Netherlands. I absolutely loved living there and I miss it dearly. I often went to Delft by tramway (can't remember the number now...), it's just so close by. And Delft was a town I visited with my mother before leaving the job when contract was finished and I headed back home. Great memories of a great country. Beautiful walk

i miss Netherlands, haven't seen a city in NL i didn't like, need to move there when pandemic is over.

Het eerste lange shot lijkt wel een beetje op het shot van Kubrick in "the shining". (de driewieler in de lange gangen) Hij gebruikte volgens mij als eerste filmer een karretje met een een gyroscoop om het beeld "stabiel" te houden. U doet het lopend ; Fantastisch!

Grappig dat ik je filmpje tegenkom. Toevallig heb ik afgelopen woensdagmiddag, dus op dezelfde dag, ook een lange wandeling door de regen in de binnenstad van Delft gemaakt. Bastiaansplein, Lange Geer, Markt, Paardenmarkt, Oude Delft, Beestenmarkt. Mezelf nog niet gezien op je filmpje 😉

Really great video, I love it. Can you tell me the exact time frame that you shot it please? Would be nice to look back in future years and compare this to my location data tracking to know exactly where I was and what i was doing when this moment in time was captured.

This walk is interesting, but much of it looks a bit post-apocalyptic. I have an uneasy feeling that this may be our future. 😶

Een vierdelige video is niet good. Eén doorlopende route zou beter zijn. A four-part video is not good. A single continuous route would be better. Une Vidéo en quatre parties n'est pas bon. Un seul itinéraire continu serait préférable.
