I don’t fish the lakers consistently enough to speak much on it. But I’d say no, I’m not seeing that. Definitely seeing way more little fish in the mix than I’m used to. But for numbers of quality fish, I’d say the biggest players have to do with seasonal water conditions and baitfish etc and how consolidated the lakers are in zones people are targeting.
I mention some tips on structures/depths at about the 33 min mark. If you find structure with rock or wood on it, it’s a big plus. The majority of people fish within approx 5 miles of the dam. It’s very good there in closer proximity to the dam but lakers utilize much of the entire length of the lake in the winter time so doesn’t hurt to get creative trying various areas of the lake and see how you like them also.
