The Taennchel is one of the France Vosges Mountains in the Alsace region.
Taennchel is an enigmatic crest of rocky outcrops.
The forests are strewn with moss covered rocks and mysterious inscriptions and the pagan wall makes it a very mystical place.
At the moment that we hiked there it was very foggy making it all extra mystical.
We end our trail after visiting the three ruins from the former castles nearby Ribeauvillé... Château du Haut-Ribeaupierre - Château du Girsberg and Château Saint-Ulrich.
