Thanks for featuring Sorsogon City, my BirthPlace. It has so much improvements since I last visited it about 30 years ago. I feel like a Tourist if I ever come to visit it again. I still know the exact places you've been to but it's all been developed and look much cleaner now. Even the "Plaza", it's what the Sorsogueños name for "Market", are really nice and clean. Salamat!! I've been there. FiL used to own the largest home in the city before his family sold out from under him. It was turned into a restaurant called Mango Grill.

- I just had a virtual excursion with you. You brought me into my hometown. 🏡 • THANK YOU ♡ - All memories were still there. I even saw my childhood residence. The river connecting to the sea. The spot where I buy my favorite "mani" the shanghai private institution, the ancient church near my school. It's been 9 years since I left Sorsogon and to see that my town has developed a lot (Thanks to Mr. Escudero) really made me happy and I'm grateful; also seeing this old Jollibee- fastfood still standing in spite all disasters 😂 I wish to come back when I'm ready. - By the way my childhood residence is at PNP compound camp salvador Escudero in front of SAVEMORE which is now fully constructed and the mural paintings on every wall were just gone! 😭 Hahaha - anyway; Thank You so much Sir for this documentary/video ... It means a lot. 🌸 Let's go for another journey. I'll be walking with you virtually. 🍃🐣🌾🍕☕🐱🕊🏘🏰🏫🌍🌻

Jollibee,Greenwich pizza, chow king, and Grace lands, places to eat. Jollibees Filipino equivalent to maccas, but thousand percent better,everything served with rice masarap. Noticed lack tricies,no so crowded down in the markets, especially the smelly/ wet markets. Still get homesick for not being able to travel home again, but hopefully this year.

I have a restaurant with my wife in Flores St. EJ's Restaurant. Its been over 2yrs now since I have been there, due to Covid. We were married in Sorsogon too. The streets look empty now. I've been there when it was packed with people and motorcycles and its a busy city!! Really busy. Hello to my beautiful wife, Esperanza Jarlego LaVelle-Williams and the staff at EJ's Restaurant.

Since a little boy till now Rompeolas remain stinky place. Stagnant water stays alongside of concrete benches, Benches never been brushed clean. Blow flies indiscriminately playing around. Rubbish bunches on sidewalls. Rompleolas would never be called a tourist spot as always forgotten to maintain cleanliness.
