Walking the beach of Zihuatanejo, Mexico  

With the development of Ixtapa, the population of the fishing village of Zihuatenajo grew dramatically, although it still maintains its traditions and quiet appeal. The beach and village spreads around the Bay of Zihuatenejo with a newly built seawall running along a portion of its length.
Zihuatanejo was notably mentioned in the movie 'Shawshank Redemption', although the actual filming did not take place here.
