This was an amazing watch didnt even skip a part. Shocked that the account only has 155 subscribers, would have sworn you were a big content creator. Also love how much knowledge of the country you have. Kudos on finishing (somewhat) the marathon lol 👏👏👏👏👏👏. Liked and Subscribed
Thank you for your support! Glad you enjoyed it, was a lot of fun to make. Lots more Nigeria videos to follow, thank you for subscribing. Much appreciated 🙏
@@Waxbill I'm a Nigerian used to reside in ikeja but left for Birmingham 5 years and now in cork. I will be in Lagos in 2 months after 5 years. I can't wait to be home
That Regal Tribute to our Late Herbert Wigwe at the very end, is indicative of the unique class and distinction of Will Ashbee! I troway Salute Sir!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾!!
@@aframaco9491 thank you sir. I found out that very same afternoon that he had very sadly died. I met him at the AFRIFF film festival, he was doing so many great cultural things for this country. A great legacy 🙏
@@hakanaki She’s an amazing girl. It was nice to be able to help her that day, impossible for people to work when the roads are closed for the runners. I hope she’s selling lots of fish and now going to school 🙏
Will, this amazing !!! Love the insight, I love the fact you greet everyone locally, you made me realise why I love Lagos again. I will defo do the walking marathon next year. 😂😂😂😂
People don't realise how warm and sticky it is, which impacts your performance. Not to mention the dust and pollution. Oga Will, you have mastered the pigin and even drop choice Yoruba expressions. Usually when something runs out people say "sorry". It's a away of being polite and empathetic. Those people in the blue weren't which very empathetic. More like LASTMA will take a bribe from him NOT arrest him ...
Excellent, Will! So informative, full of charm - refreshing to see a good guy doing something out of the comfort zone - and unscripted. Urban chaos, not quite leafy Surrey, highlighting the extreme contrast yet the close proximity between the have’s and the have not’s.
Thank you Joe, nice to hear from you! Glad you enjoyed it, hope you like the next video on Makoko. As I walked over the Third Mainland Bridge, it was to my right, a floating village!
@@PrinceOvOpp thank you very much! Would highly recommend. See you next year for the 10 Year Anniversary race?? Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment
Merci Claude! You taught me well in Geneva. Thank you for watching, glad you liked it. Another video being uploaded this evening. Makoko! Hope you enjoy it and see you in Geneva soon 🪂
@@ademolaadebayo1005 thank you, sir! Join next year for the 10 Year Anniversary? Appreciate the comment and watch, hope you enjoy the other videos 🙏 🇳🇬 🇬🇧
An 11 year old girl not enrolled in school because her mom wants her not to sell things for her😢. It goes to show how currupt, incompetent and wicked the Nigerian leaders are. Law enforcement is almost non existent. Thereby leaving the citizens of this country to take the law into their hands and do whatever they see fit. Very tearful😢
@@Waxbill your beer at the end reminded me of the famous final scene in the 1958 WWII film "Ice Cold in Alex", an epic, very hot journey, followed by a cold beer! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o3NfOGvhpxc.html
