Last year we hiked a large circular of Kinder scout and at the top we could see the impressive looking peak of Mam Tor. We wanted to chalk this peak off so returned this year to do it.
Though a very different walk from Kinder Scout, way easier! and very very busy! we did enjoy this hike and glad that we completed it with enough left in our legs to also go to Bamford Edge and do that later the same day. Ladybower Reservoir was stunning from the peak and it comes highly recommended.
We really love the Peak District and will have many more videos coming on the channel of walks in this wonderful national park, the next will be a walk to Thors Cave done the following morning with very different weather conditions. Keep an eye out for it well worth a watch.
