One chilly morning I explored the small town of Finnsnes on foot, far above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. I got to know the town, some of its shops and buildings and parks, and finally managed to beat a path through the bushes to get right to the edge of the fjord and touch the mighty Norwegian waters. All this, plus a female-only AC/DC cover band!

The Hurtigruten Terminal is also where the "speed ferry" from Tromsø makes a stop.

A sign revealed you were there in late September, which strikes me as a great time to be there--enough daylight, golden trees!
@T1DWanderer
@T1DWanderer Год назад
Yes, that's exactly what it was. In some upcoming videos you can see the endless golden trees around northern Norway. (Until it gets so far north that there are no trees!)

Many places in Troms/ Finnmark are like this, because they were built quickly and efficiently after everything for miles had been burned by the retreating Germans

I wonder how the AC/SHE-C event went. I bet Finnsnes was the place to be that weekend!

I remember 20 years ago, myself I visited this small town called Fissneses I was there for just 6 hours I remember very well this town there’s small lake middle of the town. I Remember we went to visited The House of Norwegian Troll . It’s funny they told us They are believed to live alone or in small families and are hostile towards humans. As per the troll legends, they are believed to be evil and dangerous beings that prefer the wilderness.

....and than you started the video at 0:22 with placing Finnsnes wrongly on the map. ....around 60 km south of it's correct location.

Yeah, I don’t think I would be splashing water on my face from that crappy water with what looked like a dead fish floating about 4 feet away. Just saying…. 😂

Did you call the island Tromsø-øya? The bridge is Gisund-brua. It godes to the island Senja.

Norway looks just amazing! We have go to visit Europe someday and it would be nice to spend a few weeks in each country! Ah one can dream while I sit at work at my desk. When you were spitting out the Fjord water and walking around town after I was laughing. Thanks for answering that question for me.....The Fjord is salty!
@T1DWanderer
