Yes I've picked up my walking boots again and I am walking snippets of the Wales Coast Path near to where I live. Today I catch the bus to Swansea and walk to Port Talbot. I was expecting the day to be industrial and gloomy but I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. Yes there is a heavy industrial past here but nature is reclaiming the land and there are some amazing old industrial buildings to be seen especially around the docks at Briton Ferry and the old Tennant Canal passes the largest area of fenland in Wales! Who knew?

Thanks for great video. I'm also walking the WCP. When I did this section weather was terrible a d I got drenched. Looks totally different in the sun 🌞. X

Well done! Agree about losing all of our industrial heritage to "progress", some needs to be kept for future folk to view. Very brave of you ..... no not the Britain Bridge ..... flying over water! Yet to pluck up the courage with my flying camera.

love the vid . we now live in port talbot and the area around is so lovely. the dogs all love it on the sand dunes . i have often driven this way but never walked it from swansea i must do soon .. there is a "bouy " outside britan ferry libuary that was dug up from brun els dock when they filled half of it in for the recycling center....

You used to be able to walk from the harbour area down to Port Talbot beach. Sadly the path is now closed alongside the river. They built a 6 foot wall across because the path is subsidng.

It’s an area I haven’t really explored before
