@@titto2602 because sometimes black people don't like white people because of their skin color because they think they're racist it's called racism against white people some people don't believe it exists but it does
It’s a really nice community the folks there pop alot of fireworks through the days, and for some reason they ask me for my shoe size, like how nice do you have to be to worry about someone’s shoe size .
My Auntie used to stay a block over from the O, not fun at all😳 I remember my grandma and grandpa saying when we leave don’t go out this house and if you do stay on the porch because we ain’t got no money for no funeral 🤦🏿♂️.
@@ciri151 yea i have the time and money to travel the world just like everyone else, i’ve traveled america and canada and that’s it, i’ve always wanted to and i understand that it’s not normal in every country but cmon dude u can’t just relate real people to gta npcs it’s just dumb
@@sjinsamvel3697 Disagree all you want...Osama...but, I actually live here and this place is awesome! Awful shit goes down in any big city. But, again, don't go where bad shit is bound to happen, and you might avoid the bad shit! Pretty simple logic. Visiting a place once or twice doesn't hold any creedence to actually living there.
@@sjinsamvel3697 Neat! All the "proud" white people I know that're born and raised here and love this city are fine. They, like anyone else, know where not to be. NYC is irrefutably one of the most dangerous places in America, but that cloud doesn't hang over its head as heavily as it does here. Can't imagine why (absolute sarcasm)! Either way, clearly big cities just aren't for folks that can't hang. I know this place is dangerous. Everyone here does. I also know that's not *all* it is! This place is fun as hell and has so much to offer. Again...just be smart about it, and you might be alright. Is what it is! Genuinely sorry your experience here sucked, but carrying badges like "proud white man" probably didn't help. I moved here from Texas, and a lot of the white people I know here in Chicago are just...people! And they carry themselves as such! And they're just fine! Again, is what it is! 🤷
@Chloe Great Every big city has traffic cameras, Chloe. Don't speed and they won't send you speeding tickets. It's...not the cities fault you got caught.
I went through a neighborhood like this near Hollywood. Pulled off to get gas and an old, black dude walked up (I’m white), and said, “Sir, you’re in the wrong neighborhood.” I looked at him with a question. He continued, “I don’t care but there are those that will care about a white dude around these parts.” I thanked him. Asked where I could get gas. He pointed five blocks down, “the next gas station.” Then got in my car and left as four dudes were walking towards me and the old dude was saying, “Naw. Naw. He gittin’ “ Edit: I wrote the post wrong. I lived in Hollywood and worked in LA proper. This happened kinda near my work. Sorry for all the confusion. I knew what I meant, just wrote the location wrong. For the record, I never, NEVER felt unsafe in Hollywood. That place is full of characters but none were threatening, everyone I met was absolute chill.
@@toxicxhazard ~ yes… and no. This was an unsafe neighborhood. I mean, for ANYone. While he was doing me a solid and watching out for me, a white dude, because I had a choice. And, being white, I was more of a target. I got the impression, he would have warned anyone that stopped there and had a choice concerning being in that area.
I used to work as an EMT in Chicago and had a call in O Block at about midnight. At the time I didn't know what O Block was (I was a kid from the suburbs). I've never wanted to get out of an area faster than I did that night. And this dude is out here cruising around it just for fun lol.
@StarStyln basically, the rules for going to O block are as follows 1. Don't go there unless you live there That's it, that's the only rule. They're jumpy, racist, and WILL jump you/kill you for being in the wrong area.
Thank you for this. My wife and I and our lil Bobby were considering moving into this quaint village in order to give lil Bobby a diverse upbringing. I just love the culture and sense of community and this video helped me decide to close on our house. See you soon, neighbors :)
you don’t get killed randomly just for walking if you’re a foreigner that has nothing to do with the beef or gangs then they just rob you or ask you why are you there or leave you alone
You gotta drive slow in the hood so people can recognise you aint no opp, come down speeding through the blocks of chicago cars getting shot at ask questions later
That’s what movies tell you and shit if you drive fast in the hood in real life that’s suspicious if you drive slow you not a opp cuz mfs gon get a look at you
@@Dave-jj3fk As an Iraqi, theres rubble everywhere, it looks worse than any hood in Chicago. But the people are actually really nice, the country was really like like dubai before saddam..
What's really crazy is you walk past criminals that dress nice and look rich every day and don't notice it like polticans. Chicago don't look that bad Mind ur business and carry a gun
@mike dollars Lol there are a lot of parents, that let their children play outside in the dark but yea supervision is needed. And sometimes other countries, don’t need supervision because it’s safer than America. I’m 14 and remembering traveling in the woods but not to far from my house. Maybe because I have common sense, to know where to go.
@mike dollars nigga you're dumb. their apartment budings areiterally right there, everyone knows everyone on that block. it's built that way. They are like brothers, why else you think Parkway BDs cry when they homie GET shot up. it isn't bad supervision, not in the slightest.
When Charlie walks around it’s like that scene in the matrix when no one recognizes who he is, ppl act like he’s not there. That’s how well this man blends into these environments
HxA 310 : 90501 lmaoooo facts any dummy that believes he was actually in O Block is an idiot I’m sorry . But he’s a troll and he’s not about shit . Karma will catch him
I’m a born and raised south side Chicagoan that loves her hometown and neighborhood. Many people have a huge misunderstanding about Chicago... it’s nothing like they’re portraying it to be. Often times the world sympathize for Chicagoans but I’m here to let you in on a BIG SECRET... Contrary to popular belief, not everyone that resides on Chicago’s south side live a life of turmoil and fear. Just like any place else, when you mind your own business you’ll do just fine.
I knew a girl in her early 20s who went to Chicago to tour it (I can't remember what part of Chicago tho) and when she came home she was a completely different person. All we know is that something really really traumatic must have happened to her there. She used to be outgoing and had a happy personality and ever since she got back she's become agoraphobic and won't leave her bedroom and barely talks at all. To this day she won't tell anybody what happened to her there. This was over 8 yrs ago.
I am a white man who was married to a black woman from Chicago's west side. She went to Westinghouse HS with Mark Aguirre (A real nice guy she said). I have been to neighborhoods like this and I just want to say that the vast majority of the folks who live in the 'hood a perfectly nice, normal persons who are NOT in gangs, are NOT criminals, and NOT a threat to anyone. Just wanted to point that out and say I wish the best for ALL my fellow Americans. Thank you
Not going to head there and find out, because I figured I'd be targeted due to being white.. but I believe you. My grandpa played college football in the 40s and he had a black man on his team. An opposing team from Missouri wouldn't take the field because of it. He was surprised, and said he couldn't believe that was going on "even in his day". I thought grandpa you're crazy. He always loved black folks. Lotta lessons learned from that man. Way ahead of his time in a lot of ways.
BuckRogers What an awesome story about your grandpa-sounds like a great man. Also, thank you for sharing your story I pray you put all those times behind you and carried on with strength and forgiveness. One thing though, try not to feel sorry for everyone that lives here. I’m a born and raised Chicagoan that’s doing extremely well. Not everyone that lives here, lives a life of turmoil. Like every place else, when you mind your own business you’ll do just fine.
I remember being maybe 17, brand new car and license. My girl lives near Chinatown so I’d be driving back and forth at all hours of the day and night to see her. One time, I went to drop her off and me, being from the burbs, couldn’t handle the ride back. I drove somewhere that seemed secluded to sleep. It was 63rd. I meant to go North on LSD. I didn’t sleep well that night.
In a place like this it's the casual respect you have for the people you don't know that keeps you going. I heard like five times random people saying "how ya going bro" or something like that. It's not about who you know, it's who you don't know that you gotta worry about.
Mayor Lightfoot is the greatest mayor in the world. Her streets are clean, the infrastructure looks well kept, and the people are super nice as well, they even ask if you have money and hold guns to keep each other safe. May I also note she’s an lgbtq black woman.
She dumb af, but lets be honest south side been like that through every fucking mayor and is probably gonna be like that for fucking years, that shit is not gonna change with one mayor. Also the fucking cops are getting better at not abusing theie power and then get mad when confronted that they still do. Shits just as corrupt as other cities, but Chicago is also fucking big
@Junior Herrera imma be honest i agree chicago been fucked and probably gonna be fucked up for every single mayor in the future, but thats a pfp of an american cartoon called sokka
I grew up in Chicago and lived in various neighborhoods on the south and west sides as a kid (moved around a lot). It's interesting to see how Chicago is portrayed now that I don't live there anymore. It's honestly not as dangerous as people are led to believe. You won't get robbed or shot just walking around, lol. Some areas are rougher than others, but if you haven't lived there you just won't get it. 🤷🏿♀️
Tbh we're just normal people and the few people that are bad are the ones getting the attention for Chicago's reputation. It's just like any other place if you're a civilian you're normally good it could just depend on wrong place wrong time like that little girl in little village from a couple Halloweens ago shit is sad but it's the gang violence over there as well it's bad.
as someone that's from Chicago this is a normal day basis of living I know most people will say it's unsafe and has a unwelcoming experience but to those who take it in and view it that is just how they operate has nothing to do in any negative characteristic of some sorts
Damn he actually was roaming the O.....didnt know nobody and probably didnt get cleared to do that in the first place lol..this is what BRAVE look like
That looks like a really nice place compared to the "villas" in Argentina, it even looks like a good zone if you put it over here, nice cars, good streets, police around, in a bad "hood" over here police wont even go in.

He has addressed this before. He never got around the changing the default date in his camera. Even the time is wrong. I don't think he was walking around this place after midnight...
He's doing a favorite be using his vehicle and gas to drive to these places, sometimes dangerous neighborhoods and uploading it to RU-vid for everybody enjoyment. If you can't provide any donation there is no reason to be mean. Everybody wants to be mean but right here watching HIS videos.
I'm pretty sure king von ,T roy boss Top Jmoney and the other was out there I think you walked pass Devon Bennett aka King von in the beginning of your walk through 4:17 the O, And in another video as you was driving I heard some one yell VROY HERE AYE VROY HERE in your ChicagoGangs, alleys and Guns video. Wow it's an amazing experience just watching you walk and drive through these streets. There are many o block soldiers that are still alive in this video thank you for this bro
@David Harrell Yeah people are no where near that filthy and lazy where I live. It's usually like smaller trash that falls out of loose bags or the recycling dumpster getting overfull. But I've never seen someone dump van entire bag into the street. That's not civilized behavior for sure. Makes me wonder how the US hasn't had a major disease outbreak with people that filthy living amongst us. Disgusting!
CharlieBo313 thanks for giving the world eyes on what they can’t see on the daily. People wanna comment on what they don’t know. Being born into the struggle limits you when the struggle is all you know. Be nice. Be a friend. Or be quiet.

As someone who’s lived in a place like this and across from a serial killer (he got out of three life sentences) :/ best thing you can do it make as little attention to yourself as possible, tho I’ve seen it all I had guy get busted in my yard by undercover police I also had a neighbor killed in a drive by :/ the gas station down the street had be raided by the swat team for owners reason while it was get robbed :/, what they had in common was they was being so flashy and making to much noise on the block I lived their for 8 years as a teenager and no problems ever happened to me cause I stayed to myself.
@@Oooo-ms9df you gotta have a pass. They are really at war with each other somebody gotta know who you are to just be walking around not saying they gotta hurt him
Subscribed. Way to go, Charlie. One thing I notice is how noisy these poor, more dangerous neighborhoods are at night. It's like there's a constant party going on except it's all outdoors.
