The memories are flooding back to me! On September 2nd 1998 I was born in Hillingdon Hospital and was registered at the registration place in Uxbridge! I grew up in Hayes and would go to the parks on the Greenway and on Kingshill Avenue! I would get on the 140, E6, U4, U7, 427, 607 and the 90 buses all the time! I would even stand up on the front of the double deckers at the top deck and pretend to drive the bus 😂🥰 I went to Hayes Town and even went through a youth club in Harlington which I went to Heathrow Airport to do some plane spotting! I went to Grrenford, Ealing, Ruislip, Northolt, Harrow on the Hill, Yeading or Yeading Lane which is of course Hayes I think? Sorry can't fully remember, I haven't lived in Hayes, Hillingdon since I was 14 and I'm 24 now 🤔❤️

I drove a Mini-cab around this area 50 plus years ago. My Dad’s family lived in Little Road, behind the main road. I have lived in the USA for those fifty years and didn’t recognize anything other than the station.(Also seriously changed). Some form of commentary would have been an enormous help in orientation. 28:34

A truly awful place to live and bring up kids, drugs, like many other places, are the reason for so many stabbings and violent attacks. The area is just so unsafe nowadays and gradually getting worse. A filthy violent and almost lawless part of west london.
