Church Street is home to the community centre, parks, bars, restaurants, and stores catering to the LGBTQ+ community, known to many as "the Village". It is the heart of LGBTQ+ culture in Toronto. Dundas Square, or Yonge-Dundas Square, is a public square at the southeast corner of the intersection of Yonge Street and Dundas Street. Yonge Street itself, could be considered the heart of Toronto, and acts as the dividing line between East Toronto and West Toronto.
This walk takes us right down Church Street from Bloor Street, all the way down through The Village, down to Gould Street, through Toronto Metropolitan University, over to Dundas Square, and then down Yonge Street to King.
