Hi guys!!! Big thank you for your new video. I am from Esteli and the streets you guys walked is where I grew up. I miss Nicaragua and more my town. It was so good to watch this video. Xxxx
Hi Gixia, yes we remember well! Did you see that we took you up on your recommendations to visit El Tisey and La Garnarcha? A big thank you to you too!🤗
Wow! Esteli is so pleasant, the weather and its coffee shop varieties. And very true,to find an appartrment for a long stay is hard to find. And you guys found La Veranera!!! I want to take a photo there!.As always BLT,great video! .Saludos mis pinoleros de Australia!!!
Definitely an airbnb opportunity here!😉 La Veranera was definitely a fun treasure hunt and we were very lucky to meet Julio the artist too. Thanks for watching Henry!
¡Hola Mery! Estelí fue la primera ciudad que visitamos en Nicaragua y León fue la segunda. Si bien Estelí no tiene la misma historia que León, ¡lo compensa con la comida, los cafés y el clima más frío!
Gosh darn it! Will someone make these two ambassadors already?!?!? (Jusr kidding [not really]) 😉 I always get SO MUCH out of your walking tours... unreal... I've kinda fallen in love with Estelí since you started showing us how awesome the city is. Always been intrigued by cities in the northern highlands, but I had Matagalpa in mind... it's been a real treat to learn first hand from you guys. *THANK YOU* 🔵⚪🔵 Un fuerte saludo para vos, Jon y para Jay también ✌🏻😎 PD: La Purísima won't be the same without your vids 😢😭😢😭
Love seeing the murals and art in the town. There was an art event back where I’m from in Arkansas. They had a team of artists come to historic Fort Smith and put huge murals around the town. It was so cool. Looks like parking is hard to come by in Estelli Great timing being there for the festival. Enjoyed the video! Thanks! 😀
Hey JD, thanks for watching! We always enjoy checking out the murals in any city or town that we visit. The streets are pretty narrow but you should be able to park down the back streets pretty easily.
Hey Bryan and Chelsey, thanks for watching! Yes we have been to Jinotega too, it is great to get to the Northern part of Nicaragua and tread off the beaten path a little!
Hey guys and fellow aussies (it´s Emily and I´m Australian also!) We´re currently travelling around Central America making vlogs and will be heading to Nicuragua soon so this was super interesting to us. We hope to bump into you guys on the road! Tom will be really happy that Esteli has a good cafe scene - he loves a good coffee! Hahaha can´t believe you found the artist before you found the artwork - what are the chances!? Awesome! You guys happened to be there during a festival - how cool! The traditional dresses are so beautiful! Thanks for taking us around - we´re super excited to go now! New friends and supporters here! Em and Tom 😀
Hey Em and Tom, so glad you found us and super stoked that you are both Aussies RU-vidrs on tour in Central America!! Presumably you will be travelling through Honduras, so Esteli is a great stop over after you cross into Nicaragua, on the way to Leon. Please reach out (insta DM or our facebook page) if you would like any help with ideas in Nicaragua or other Central American countries. We are on our way to Europe shortly, what are your plans over the next couple of months? We'd love to catch up when our paths cross next. We'll check out your channel too! Welcome to our channel and enjoy Central America!🤗🤗🤗
@@BucketListTravellers Actually Tom is British but nobody can tell the difference anymore beause our accents have merged into one 😂 Yes! We´ll be heading to Honduras, that´s super helpful for us to know 🙏 Thanks so much! We follow you on instagram so we´ll DM you there!! We´re heading south from Mexico tomorrow - so Guatamala tomorrow and a quick trip to Belize. Then southwards from there. When are you heading to Europe? Aww thanks so much, we would appreciate that! See you guys soon 🥰
Hi Senay, Nicaragua has a 3 month visa that you obtain when you enter the country. The visa also allows you to enter Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala during that time as well. There are flights into Nicaragua from a couple of countries and a lot of people find it easier to fly to Costa Rica and then cross the land border into Nicaragua. Good luck!
Yes and no! A general rule is that SJDS will be the most expensive, however we found Esteli hotel accommodation to be higher with not many airbnb options and some of the restaurants were as expensive as San Juan del Sur, however Matagalpa was cheaper generally.
Hi Albert, we didn't go to any clubs while we were there, however there were plenty of great restaurants to visit for dinner. We did another video about the restaurant scene here if you are interested: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nFa14Od5jiY.html
To clarify the meaning of EL GALLO MAS GALLO, GALLO in Nicaragua is an urban adjetive for Brave in english... so the title el gallo más gallo means THE BRAVEST ROOSTER... that's why you can see the rooster cartoon with its arms raised up as a wrestler....
El gallo means tuff, strong or best, chicken means the opposite. So el gallo más gallo means the tuffest of the tuffest or best of the best That's what they are trying to say with that name
So did you just compliment the internet service, clean spacious rooms, great food, inclusive breakfast…etc and then piss on about it’s a bit more expensive?
Hi there Dirty Dingus, thanks for watching. We stayed at a great hotel, however we found that accommodation options in Esteli were more expensive for the services that you got relative to the rest of the country. For example, we stayed at a one bedroom studio at Playa Maderas with faster internet for half the price of the hotel room in Esteli.
