It’s pretty amazing. The whole site is huge and it’s just behind the high street, but is tucked away so if you didn’t know it was there you would miss it!
I'll be coming to UK, reading specifically very soon. Glad I found this video. Lovely places . Got to see through your lenses first. When I'm there, I'll revisit this comment.
Woohoo! That’s great to hear. I always hoped that someone would benefit from being able to find out about somewhere before they go. It’s good to know the lay of the land sometimes. Especially if your trip is short. Have fun in Reading!
I think if you're a Londoner and feel suffocated, the best place to go imo is Heathrow airport, specifically the surrounding area as there is a lot of space and you can actually see the sky in the distance.
AT 3 MONTHS OLD I WAS FOUND ON BEDFORD ROAD I LIVED IN READING TILL I WAS 19 AND HAVE NOT BEEN BACK IT ALL LOOKS SO DIFFRENT BUT NICE O YES I AM NOW 85
@@walkingworld6441 YOU THINK THAT IS CRAZY WELL I WAS FOUND ON BEDFORD RD AND I WAS THE FIRST NONE WHITE PERSON EVER SEEN AT THAT TIME IN 1939 THEAR WAS NO PEOPL OF COLOR IN READING I BECAME READING GREAT MYSTERY
Drunk and in spirit form the handful of times I visited here in the past 1-2 years; is there any other way to experience a new place? Just walking: out to the ends where there is green spaces and then back to the centre.
Nice video and gives a good atmosphere of the town but I find it a shame that all walking tours only seem to concentrate on the main shopping areas and streets. What about walking along Oxford road, Wokingham road, Tilehurst road, walk Coley park area, Caversham, Caversham heights, Emmer green, Woodley. Walk along the Thames and Kennet and Avon canal. There's so much more than just the town centre!
