This bus line looks fantastic! I sure can't wait to ride these soon. And my phone would sure appreciate the USB ports for a good charge. ha Thank you for the video.
Joseph Heston they came out with Xcelsiors around 2010, and they were backlogged that's why they didnt bid for SEPTA's last order, reason for the Novabuses
LCD monitors? Welcome to the 21st century SEPTA. Now if only the ticketing displays would tell you how much you have on your Travel Wallet balance. Like say Milwaukee does, a system that uses slightly older displays but can tell you that. Nonetheless baby steps. Maybe one day. Just hope those monitors would be any good. And USB ports? Easy charging of phones as you ride? It's like I'm almost fully impressed with SEPTA.
Kschychooo SEPTA is way ahead of other systems. Milwaukee like NYC and LA and other subpar cities, uses old magstripes which were designed and made by a company, Cubic, which is horrible at ticketing and notorious for failing unreliable equipment. It's the lowest bidder. SEPTA mostly designed theirs in-house, and partnered with ACS, which assisted. An excellent choice.
