Welcome to another walking tour of Weinheim. Weinheim is often described as " zwei Burgen Stadt" or the town of two castles : the castle of Windeck and the castle of Wachenburg. You can either hike up to the castle or take a car. Both of these castles will mesmerise you with their own uniqueness and the beautiful view of the town from above. From my visit to Weinheim, however, the g
"Geberbachviertel" or the tannery district had a different appeal. Those half timbered houses of old tanners located beside the tiny brook struck me like a picture from the old history book on times prior to the industrial revolution. In this video, walk along with me the beautiful old town of Weinheim. I have tried to capture most of the city I could in a day but this city has much more to offer.
