Glad you love your home city. Florida is awesome. Very hot in the summer. Beautiful in the winter time. So much to do in Florida. From the beaches to the theme parks. Very unique place to live. 😀
Unfortunately, Florida becomes a haven for seniors who arrive from all over the United States, drive up housing prices, and vote for conservative fanatics. They banish books from public libraries and forbid children to study Renaissance statues and paintings. If they continue on this draconian path, they will soon ban bathing suits on the beach. It's a very puritanical state, even though the beaches are nice, you should think twice where you spend your money.
Florida 1st exposure foreign imports and casino facilities when there were hot dogs just around the corner and Harpa across the street??????? Didn't even look up 'Skol' St. to Hallgrimskirkja!
What really surprised me about this city is the crazy amount of graffiti. It's everywhere, even on traffic signs. That goes against the fact that it's one of the safest cities in the world and Iceland in general has a very low crime rate. We visited for 4 days and saw one police car. I felt incredibly safe and loved the people. I was speaking to some shop keepers and they said that most crimes and there are very few are committed by drunk tourists.
I am a little bit disappointed with all the graffiti daubed on the walls of the City - apart from that it looks very nice, I wish I could afford to emigrate there 👍
