Im not kidding when I say UJAM makes the absolute best and most useful drum libraries on Earth. I have Eastwest, Native instruments and a few others. I only use UJAM. And the results are 2nd to none. Absolutely amazing drum libraries. And legend is no exception. These drums are so tight, so sick…an absolute pristine masterpiece of a library. UJAM is the most solid name in the drum library market.
Wow, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words and enthusiastic support! We put a lot of effort into creating top-quality drum libraries like LEGEND, and it's fantastic to hear that they're exceeding your expectations. Thank you for your support, and happy music-making! 🎶🥁✨
Thank you for your love and support for UJAM products! 🙏🏼 We appreciate your enthusiasm and your suggestion for a jazz-themed plugin. While we can't make promises about specific future products, we're always exploring new ideas and listening to feedback from our users. Thank you for being a part of the UJAM community! 🎶🎷
This is the easiest path to vibey, funk/dry/soul/70s drums. I played this on electronic drums too, so its possible to play this on anything. Or use the built in grooves, which has a timing feature to "lay back" the beat or rush it forward, etc.
Thanks so much for your kind words and support! We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying our plugin review videos. We're passionate about providing high-quality content that's informative and helpful for our viewers.
Random thought : what about “create your own bundle” where you can pick a plug-in from every category and get it for a discount? I don’t need all beatmakers. But I’d like a beat maker, virtual drummer legend, STRIIIINGS, pianist score, and would be nice to get a similar discount to someone who buys a bundle in one category. Please? 😅
@@petergorges6163 nevermind, you took too long to release this feature. So I went ahead and got the full bundle as revenge. Take that, Ujam! Kinda wish I hadn’t just bought the finisher bundle a few days prior, but I wanted some new toys.
Have you ever thought about developing a compressor/transient shaper plugin to achieve the same punchiness I often hear in your instruments? I understand we can achieve this manually, but I believe your team possesses a unique expertise and technique for achieving that distinct punchiness, which might not be widely known.
I'm considering purchasing your plugins; I like them, but I'm missing sounds in the style that is making a comeback and will be very popular in 2024, like Italo Disco, Disco 80s, and Eurodance. Will you be making Italo Disco 80s and Eurodance 90s? When can we expect them? ☺♦♥
Thanks for your feedback! For Eurodance you could start with Beatmaker EDEN and Usynth EUPHORIA and DRIVE, and for Italo Disco a great mix is Beatmaker VICE and Usynth GLAM. If that works for you, you can expand into Virtual Guitarist SPARKLE 2, Virtual Bassist ROYAL or SLAP, and Virtual Pianist VOGUE!
Thanks for the feedback! About the attitude function: To gradually tweak the performance, turn the Mod Wheel up and notice how the drummer gradually goes softer. 🥁Glad you're enjoying the VSTi! 🎛🎹
Best Walkthroughs) Your drum plugins are indeed cool and vibey, but I really miss hi-hat articulations (edge/tip, closed, tight, different openness) like EZDrummer 3 has. The articulations of other parts of the drum kit have also become a definite standard. Additionally, the ability to use CC for snare zones crossing/mixing (center, middle, edge) and hi-hat openness along with modwheel for additional expression (velocity) would be really cool. Hopefully, these features will be included in future updates.
yes! I do think, however, that you are right about being vibey -- they look to be going to super quick and vibey 70's drums. And for that, it's great. Super quick. I played this with edrums and it's certainly doable, but yes it would benefit from multiple hihat articulations at least.
Thank you for your valuable feedback and suggestions! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying our drum plugins. We understand the importance of having detailed articulations and expressive controls for drum instruments. While we can't make any promises about specific updates, rest assured that your input will be taken into consideration for future development. 🙏🏼 🥁
Sorry, but I have to ask... This video received a copyright notification? Cause the way that the video put the famous songs was genius kkkkkkkk. Please, I need to know
Hi, there are 34 midi files in there. Every midi files includes different song parts like Intros, Verses, Choruses, Specials, Fills, breaks, Endings etc. That's why it says over 800. Hope that clarifies it. 🥁
Thanks for asking! Yes, it does. The exact setup of a multi-output Virtual Drummer will depend largely on your DAW. Please read the overall instructions in our user guide, just search for "Individual Outputs". Thank you! 🙏🏼 🥁www.ujam.com/fileadmin/products/Manuals/VD_2_User_Guide_20220922.pdf
Hey uJam you guys know that regardless of humanize settings your kicks and snares etc hit random generated velocities? Like I'll lay the midi in the DAW and I can play the same 4 bar section and each play back the snares will potentially hit different (sometimes the same) velocities so that this snare hit is loud this time, next time it's soft? This happens regardless of how I set humanise. You guys know this is a nightmare for consistency right?
Sorry to hear you're having issues and it does indeed sound like a nightmare. Could you please contact support, they will help you. Thank you! www.ujam.com/contact-us
The way you described it, it sounds like there's an issue. The snare hits shouldn't be crazy different in volume. If you haven't yet, please contact support. www.ujam.com/contact-us
I just brought this and it’s asking for full access to my disk and emails and god knows wat else What’s going on smh? Not to mention there are no videos in here showing you how to record using this thing you can only dragon drop into the daw? You mean to tell me I can’t freestyle while record is going on? I just brought five other products yesterday as well. I’m thinking I’m going to ask for a return if that’s how it is for all five of them especially this legend one.. I’m not a drag and drop guy I wanna be able to freestyle not to mention your whole model is to make things easier for production and dragging and dropping is not that easy especially After I do that, I now have to chop and splice to make it sound how I wanted to sound. Something told me not to buy, especially if there’s nobody showing you how to actually record the drums in live.
Hey there, you can use the app without having to grant the installer app full disk access. Simply deactivate the "Silent Plugin Installation" feature in the app settings. Please have a look at this article: support.ujam.com/hc/en-us/articles/10777833626908-Silent-Installation-UJAM-App You can freestyle with this instruments. The octaves starting from C1 and C2 on your midi keyboard are the ones with the all individual drum samples, C3 and C4 trigger the phrases/styles. Hope that helps!
I feel like I wanted to like this Drummer, but I just don't like the sound it lacks intensity and punch to me. Much rather use drums from "DEAD 1973" by circle drums
@@tobiaslofi If you could only hear what I have done with these drums so far. And it's only gonna get better. dry drums are deceiving until you hear them in real productions. These drums are super flexible because you can do so much with effects. But I also have Brute which are Nasty drums.
