A simple looking but rather complex media unit.
the veneered panel im using is NZ Rimu (Red Pine) , hard to get in any form let alone pieces big enough and with adequate quality to be made into veneer. thus this one sheet cost around $500 nz.
i used Salice Pacta hinges on this one , here - salicedirect.com/products/sal...
I used Mirotec WB 8060 WB , clear coat by Mirotone
and Lusacryl semi gloss paint by Resene.

Nice build, thanks. I love the cable access port you made and especially the thinking around cutting the piece out with a narrow bit so you could then keep the piece to maintain grain consistency and fill "kerf" with lipping etc, (nothing short of brilliant). Cheers, David

When you sprayed the back of the doors first, I thought, wow, someone with a brain. You have no idea how many RU-vid vids I've seen where they paint the outside first. I was amazed again when you covered the back with painters plastic, it is indeed the only way to prevent overspray. Kudos Joey.

@LostWhits

The pop out cable tidy. I saw a guy cut one upside down on a CNC with a 45° V cutter until it just cut through. He then glued on a triangular block of timber to all edges. No kerf lost at all.

So you made a (rather unique / nicely done) cable port, so I assume there's going to be electronics in here - but I don't see any provision for (forced) ventilation. Did the customer spec it that way? (I understand that not everything with a plug needs lots of cooling)
