Kitchen wall sconces...great idea!! I wonder if you would consider doing a video on basic electrical concerns for decorating. For example: I dislike the hanging wires featured in many of these sconces. How do I speak to an electrician about an alternative with hidden wiring? Thanks again, dear Olga, for another great video that gets me thinking outside the box.
There are two different types of wall sconces. Some have plugs (which means no electrician needed) and the others are called 'hard wired'. They need to be connected by an electrician because there is no cord and plug. Not all wall sconces come in both types. Hope this helps... thanks for watching!
Thank you for creating this video as the answer to my kitchen lighting design questions! Keep up the excellent content, we greatly appreciate it. Have a lovely weekend!
Yes! More design loves please! Walls sconces are so great. I really like the 265 light too but sadly it's too big for my place. Do you happen to know of a cantilevered wall lamp that looks a bit similar but that is slightly smaller by any chance? Thank you!
I love wall sconces also. I am trying to select lighting for a new home and wondering, can you overdo the wall sconces? Hallways, stairs, and bathrooms all? (btw, red looks pretty on you!)
Love wall sconces…. the variety you showed was eye opening. Doing double duty to illuminate art is a really good idea. I wish they made wall sconces with pull chains. I like the idea of freeing up room on the bedside table, but having to get out of bed to turn them off is inconvenient. Or do they make them with remotes now, 🤣 ?
Look for wall sconces that can be plugged in to an electrical outlet. Or you can find bulbs that are controlled by batteries and an app on your phone and they work well too. No electrical wiring needed.
Okay! I have a design question: how do I successfully mix two design styles that I really like, that seem at odds with eachother, but create a cohesive look? I have been trying to figure out how I mix my love of minimalistic Scandinavian style with my love of vintage. Help :)
